Fuck my life I bought it at Target like 5 days ago.
Worth the $40?
Easily worth the price.
I like it better than GT 6 (I own both). Forza looks great, the cars handle very realistically, the customization is great, and the AI (Drivatar) is a lot of fun.
The "grind" isn't much of a grind at all. Personally I have no need for 1200 cars, as I'd never drive 1200 cars. I like to get to know a car and actually use it more than a few times. The microtransaction thing is blown out of proportion. use it if you want, if you don't, you don't have to. It's not a good sign of things to come (in all video games), but in this case for this game, it's not a big deal. Personally, seems like a lot of complaining from people who don't even own the game and have never played it.
Yeah, some of the tracks get repetitive, but personally I like getting to know tracks, so I get better at driving on them.
In Gt6 the cars don't show realistic damage, act like bumpers cars upon collison, and don't offer any real challenge in their handling. Yes, there are more cars and tracks...But the AI sucks..
Bottomline, Forza for 40 is easily a buy if you own an XBox One!!
Godddamit. Got it on amazon a week ago.
Shame MS doesn't price match. I'd so buy the digital version if it were that cheap. I'm finding myself going digital on the one this gen minus Halo 5 and possibly titanfall.

Looks like it's still at $39.99Man, I really hope this deal is still up tomorrow morning so I can take it to target to price match the one I bought.

Wait, what? Why not Halo and Titanfall? MP games being digital are a must.
I'm considering this.... Oh jeez

Is the game any good if you're not a racing sim fan? I've barely played any racing sims due to needing to know how to handle driving the cars correctly, so does it have a beginner-type mode where you can build your skills up?
I honestly don't understand why people pay full retail prices for digital games that don't have to factor in transportation, manufacturing and disc production costs.
I'm all for a digital future as an inevitability, but what would be amazing is if digital games were cheaper than their physical counterparts, even by $10 or so.
Wow..what a deal. I do not own a X1 but my neighbor has X1 along with Ryse and Forza 5....and a few other games but Forza 5 looks pretty nice and of course if you are a fan of racers it is definitely worth 40 bucks, no doubt about it. It is more of a cross-gen game graphically but still nice looking. I played it for a total of around 3 hours thus far.
