Way better.

There is so much off with the Horizon box, it just doesn't flow very well. I hope it is some kind of placeholder, but I doubt it.

As long as it like the first TDU and less like any NFS, that will be one great game to have fun.

Throw few cities in, throw in Bizzare's legacy of weather/time of day engine and give a decent wheel support (I was the one who were playing first TDU with the crappy MS FF Wireless Wheel and it was a superb, superb fun) - and this will be the perfect autumn driving game.

I hope for a nice selection of vehicles and deep and rewarding single-player structure (as first TDU presented > cities, dealerships, exploration, houses, garages, tune shops, avatar Barbie mini-games, car transfers, different types of challenges, huge unmapped areas, paint shops, etc).

This type of games can't live long in online because arcade-type physics calls for crashing and violent driving. It can be fun for the first period, but after short period of time only the Crème de la Crème remains in order to slaughter the newcomers.

I hope this will be good. TDU2 completely destroyed the perfect foundations of the first game and closure of Bizzare just killed the complete Fun-&-Drive sub-genre.

Some maybe remember almost perfect gem in this sub-genre from the first Xbox - Mercedes Benz World Racing (PS2 version was just an abomination while successor game was crap). It was a game I instantly fell in love with backthen, it was an almost perfect game from any perspective imaginable. When the first TDU arrived I felt the same emotions as in MBWR and it was a game that I played and loved even more than PGR3.

If Forza Horizon succeed to capture that unique spirit of multidisciplinary open-world racing as presented in MBWR and the first TDU, this will be the Third Coming of Greatness™ in the genre that desperately needs re-invention in majority of its sub-genres.

Ugh, with that cover they might as well have called it Generic Racing Game. That's what I'd think if I saw that on a shelf without any previous knowledge of the franchise.

So this new "super-group" developer is made up of ex Bizarre Creations,Codemasters,SMS,Black Rock, Ubisoft Reflections,Eutechnyx,Lionhead,Rare,Rockstar North..etc guys. Sounds like a winner on paper...box art notwithstanding..

Oi, how did I miss this? Boxart is turrible, logo is okay for me.
Screenshot does not show too much, though.
Give me video (at E3!)
