What are those circles?

I was more using those as an example of somewhere where there isn't roads... not necessarily that specific area. But I didn't know what those things were before but do now, so thanks!

Would be nice to cruise that salt flat desert on the northwest.

Forza Horizon Pre-order Incentive Car

---

I will buy horizon day 1 but feck that dlc stuff, i'm sure to get enough fun out of the base game just like with the other forza titles, I skip car packs because I find them mostly pointless outside of a few wants, track dlc I will buy though.

I don't think it's bad to have expansion pack out soon as it keep people interested in the game. I didn't get Mass Effect 3 DLC because it had been so long since I finished the game and now I just don't really care to play it (also the same with Skyrim DLC). I think there's a small window after game launch where DLC / expansion pack is viable to help extend the game and not sending it to used game bin.

As for $50.00 season pass, coming from someone who is old enough to remember paying $14.99 for Test Drive 3 expansion cars pack back in 1990 I don't know why it's such a shameless thing. I clean out my garage couple weeks ago and found two of my old Falcon 2.0 expansion packs. The first consisted of 10 missions and another one was just re-skin and re-tool F16 into Mig-29. They still have the receipt inside the packages from Software ETC. and they both came out to over $40.00 with tax).

Personally I think content we get now from today "expansion pack" have far more value than back in those days. The cars in Forza are highly details and with full cockpits, also with Forza Horizons they have to also model night time dashboard.

Also if the game is too expensive there should be plenty of deal coming this holiday, heck even Microsoft store is giving you back $10.00 along with 1600 Microsoft points just to pre-order it from Microsoft Store.

Sure, all valid points.

This is the most aggressive post-launch approach we've seen yet, and for me personally, I find it mostly serves the needs of the publisher, and only the most hardcore of players. To "normal" people I think it's fatiguing to have a game come back to the well so soon, and for so much. It's solving a problem I don't think a lot of people have.

9 barns is really low.... how can that be? Just 9 cars to unlock per cruising around? that's a bit sad if true, maybe per area?
Been thinking about this more, and how many cars could you find in TDU? I mean, complete cars?

You had to find something like 9 wrecks to unlock a single car for your garage in TDU2, so all things considered Horizon might compare pretty well in terms of exploration based unlockable cars.

I am going to get a tshirt saying "CLIGGICL" on it. Then at PAX, when a stranger punches me in the face, I know I have found my ForzaGaf buddies.

I wonder how many plane vs car races there will be. Got to agree with Shortt this and the mustang/mustang race get my pumped everytime I see it.

EDIT: oh shit! better damage all over my face!

To be honest, I don't see the point of the plane races. Your basically racing by yourself....

It's just a fun time trial really. I just see it as them copying all the cool races that Top Gear does. I dunno, call me strange but I really dig it.

Disclaimer: HUGE Top Gear fan.

Maybe I am a sucker, but this race is getting me PUMPED.

The chanting 3-2-1 start, the music, the plane, the car...freakin awesome!

The previously plane vs car race they showed did nothing for me. Watching the plane move around the hills as you drive through tunnels straight was pretty exciting.

I think it looks fantastic. The dudebro stuff doesn't seem too over-the-top, but it looks like it has a lot of character and style. Whereas Forza is a little 'sterile' (and I love it for that), this seems a lot more fun.
