:lol

The fix isn't even good enough. They need to either delete the article, or make it clear it's parody. Not everyone knows the onion is not a real news source, and many of Fox News' viewers will probably think this is fact.

How did they not realize that you can't send an email to the whole nation? And didn't they feel left out when they checked the inbox?

Some of the other 'real' articles are just as outstanding: "common man Obama has pastry chef" "obamas grandmother prays he converts to Islam" :lol
Are those legit Fox articles? Wow.

I would like to point out that Fox News Nation is like the youtube comments section of regular Fox News. Just for clarity's sake.

They were probably aware it was a joke--but they're also aware many readers will take it seriously and spout about it to their tea-party friends.

I find Fox Nation hilarious. I mean, it's really embarrassingly stupid, and at the same time it bears the Fox brand.

Also, one of these days someone's going to prank them with a stealth edit and then they'll need to set up a system to show edits, but then that will exposes cases like this one.

His head looks shopped there too!

Wait, that's an actual page from fox and NOT the onion?
Fox Nation is kinda like a right-wing, Fox-sponsored Daily Kos.

the best part is that he's holding an ice-cream
Pastry chefs do make ice cream sometimes... <shrug> I know, they still coulda found a better photo.

:lol :lol :lol
I thought the second image (the layout of articles) was from the Onion until reading some of the later posts

Shit, Fox News, you're killing me :lol

.....Next time I see my parents watching Fox News I am grabbing the remote and turning off the TV, telling them it's for their own good.

unfortunately, Beck has probably prepared them for that day. they'll be ready to disown you, under suspicion that you're reporting their activities to Obama's minions.

watch your back.

Surprisingly, they don't like Glenn Beck. They like the rest of Fox News, but hate him. The look on my grandmother's face when my mother said something slightly insulting to Beck was hilarious.

My parents also don't like Rush Limbaugh, but my grandparents do.

Yup, and when they see it mysteriously vanish, they will think it's a conspiracy.

Funny how the story fits right in with the rest. :lol
Oh wow, you're right :lol

They used to do this a few years back. I worked this job where the only websites we could get were a few local ones and fox news. The only joy from reading fox news was from the onion articles they'd post once a week or so, but they stopped. Guess they're back at it.

I figured Fox was posting Onion articles as legit whenever it aligned with their strict narrative. Anything about Obama sucking gets presented as legit and everyone buys it.

Little off topic.

Thanksgiving the other day and the inlaws were over. My mother in law says she heard a trivia question, "Who was the only president to have recieved a purple heart?" My father in law got it right (JFK). Then she follows it up with "Well it certainly wasn't Barack Hussien Obama, that coward." I don't even know how you are supposed to respond to that. I'm not a huge Obama fan. I wasn't offended by the comment. I just find it sad how people are so manipulated by the media, especially Fox News. I can't even try to have a political discussion with my dad, he's feed 4 hours of ammo every day from that station. Most of the stuff I've never heard of so I can't comment on, then I look it up later and 90% of it is complete bullshit that he wouldn't believe if it was against a republican. WE ARE DOOMED AS A SOCIETY.

I advise everyone to stay clear of the comments on that link. Ex:
I wish you had posted this the other day! My neighbor, who is an Obeyme worshipper and a teacher (you do the math from there) posted on her FB page about your flub. I came back with his 57 states comments. I'd have LOVED to have had all this!

The other thing I'd have loved to have said to her and her Obeyme chorus was that you aren't even a politician, but HE got voted in with all that stupidity, so what does that say about THEM?
