I demand that they play "In the House In a Heartbeat" at least once this season. Would be awesome.

Nah just have Goblin do the soundtrack and it'll be groovy :lol

I have no idea who he could be...I had to open the books the get his name anyways. And I just finished reading all of 'em a week or two ago. :lol

OH.MY.GOD.

"Writing this book for the past seven years I've gotten very close to the character of Rick," said Robert Kirkman, who wrote the comic on which The Walking Dead is based, and who will serve as an executive producer on the AMC drama. "Andrew Lincoln embodies every aspect of the character that fans know and love. After seeing this photo I don't think that there will be a doubt in anyone's mind that he's perfect for the role."

Who'd they cast for Morgan?

Ahh, I dunno.

I didn't hear any news about that, maybe they haven't included his character yet? He could be moved till later. Again, I haven't read the pilot script and I don't remember any names for Morgan.

Sweet - this is looking good. What's up with the smiley face? Covering up guest cast or something?

The guy who took the photos wasn't exactly allowed on set(was escorted off) so he wanted to remain anonymous I guess.

He said he looked out his apartment window and saw them filming and went to check it out lol.

Did they ever cast Mischione?

I know I probably spelled that wrong.

Assuming the first season is roughly equal to the first six issues/trade, Michonne comes later.

is this going to be like dawn of the dead in serial form? i'm not familiar with the source material.

I don't really get what you're asking.

The gist of the of the book is this group of people struggling to survive the zombie apocalypse. The real danger is other people/themselves, instead of the zombies, however.

That's about as good as a summation of the show/comic as anything, I guess.

Don't remember this in the book. Only "tank" was much later on
Nope, there are tanks and other abandoned military vehicles near the beginning, when Rick meets Glenn while looking for supplies in a ravaged city.

Yes but they didn't get into the tank and such like in the pic, that's what I mean.

I don't mind them changing some small things from the graphic novels, especially if it means Rick gets on that mounted gun and mows down some zombies :D . Looking good so far, October is only 4 months away!

I figure this thread is as good a place as any to ask this:

How long does Kirkman plan on continuing with this book? I remember reading about it once but its slipped my mind.

for as long as people are reading...and then more some.

As long as it keeps selling.

Which bothered me when I started reading it, but whatever. He's kept up the quality for 73 issues, so we'll see.

Like everyone else said, until people stop reading. And then he'll write more until he's satisfied the story's ended.

The current storyline has the potential to be crazy awesome, can't wait to see how it turns out!
