MS tends to keep a tighter rein on points than Live subscriptions though.DaBuddaDa said:GTFO, negative nancy. It's not as if earlier Live deals haven't been successfully exploited to hell and back. Hundreds of GAFers have maxed out Live subscriptions from them :lol

That's probably why The Faceless Master got over 40k points in one of these.SapientWolf said:MS tends to keep a tighter rein on points than Live subscriptions though.
X26 said:yea if they really have no fraud prevention system in place (doubt that's the case) they could just restart the giveaway. Send out an e-mail to all tose who submitted a form letting them know and all the legit gamers won't mind at all as they take 1min to refill the form.
The guys who spend hours building up thousand upon thousands of ms points via exploits, however, will mind, and their bitter rants will be fun to read itt
regardless, anyone thinking they're getting their years of live and 50,000+ ms points are dellusional
He was laughing until he realized that he wouldn't get all those thousands of points he thought he would get. Now he's crying.Slayven said:Somewhere Constanza is laughing.

Would be hilarious if someone won with fake info.

This is not the same though since it's Gamestop and the fact that they held off on sending out codes. They probably had a hunch that people would try to exploit the system and, obviously, we did. No one has gotten any codes, and I seriously doubt anyone will get more than one for the same mail address.

They are giving stuff away. For free. Least you can do is have some patience. Ain't no entitlement to jack shit here. Either we get it all, get it up to an IP cap, or jack shit at all.Mikey Jr. said:Ohh come on. This shit is getting ridiculous. 9pm already. I wants them codes.

That one still works if they actually wind up honoring the points it says.
