I was thinking about turning off notifications for Wario64 after the SNES Classic because I would get just so many tweets throughout the day.

I'm keeping notifications on him for life.

Well, looks like I have jelly to go with my peanut butter
I'm jelly :(

Anyone sulking over missing out, get a smartwatch and follow Wario64 on Twitter with notifications turned on. You'll never miss another deal again.
Can you, um... tell me how to do this? I just installed the Twitter app, I've literally never used it before but now I want to be notified ANYTIME Wario tweets.

Be careful, Amazon tends to backcharge people that got free items. Happened last time where the amazon screw-up was for a 70 inch HD TV or something and Amazon backcharged a few items afterwards. Worse case amazon will shut your account if they audit and you don't pay up

Never heard of this and that's very illegal.

No, that's illegal.

No, they can claim a free item is not a promotion or a legal price mistake. One thing if its a $200 screw up and they charged you $17, than they have to eat the cost, but free, no small claims court will uphold that that I know of, but maybe Legal-GAF know better

In the app, go the the person you're following. You should see a bell icon. Tap that and you'll turn on notifications. If you have a smartwatch, you've probably already set it up to display your notifications.

No, that's still illegal. They can't charge you after the fact more than the agreed upon amount.

I believe it was Saturday.

Darn, I was hoping you had a later ETA but now it was arriving sooner than expected.

I missed this by 3 minutes due to my smartwatch being on the charger and being too wrapped up in Destiny. So mad at myself.

Got it in my cart and then my stupid ass wifi started acting up. Turned on LTE instead and it screwed everything up. Now I'm just sitting here feeling sorry for myself :[

They wouldn't charge for the order, they'd just cancel.

It would be legally shady to charge-correct.

I literally turned off my notifications yesterday. Never again.

Same, the alerts were going off all the time and was just getting too much for me. If this had been a PS4 or Switch I'd probably be kicking myself more. Oh well, I'm content with snagging a SNES classic preorder thanks to Wario64.

Tangentially related - why is my 1 day shipping option $12, didn't that used to be a flat $4?
Have I been living under a rock?

Shhhhhh!

Got one with 1 day shipping but says Tuesday delivery so it's definitely getting cancelled

I dunno, I ordered something unrelated with prime free two day shipping earlier today, but it says Tuesday for some reason that it's coming in, completely ignoring Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Which is really late considering. I'm hoping it's a mistake.

I wouldn't call that an indication yet.

There is a little bell icon on the users page that allows you to get direct notifications.
Thanks y'all! Got it working and now I await the flood of tweets, lol.
