I wound up buy-in Nosferatu yesterday because 1) I loved the Lighthouse and 2) because Makoto-Yuki Makoto-Yuki 's screenshot. I really, really liked it. The first bits were dull but once the main guy heads out, it started to get good and just kept getting better. I think I will wind up buying The Vvitch and give that a watch tonight.

I loved the movie. I'm disappointed the extended edition is only 4 mins longer. I think it's only two scenes they added to.

You've never seen The Witch??? :messenger_face_screaming: I like all his films but The Witch/Nosferatu are the best. The Lighthouse is #3 and The Northman last (but still a great movie!)

I think I will rewatch The Witch tomorrow.

Yeah I knew that. I am quite into tech/computing so not really a surprise to me.

Did you know Blackberry is still around too? I actually miss my Blackberry :( I'd kill for a phone like that today. Physical keyboard, decent sized screen, and focus on actually being a phone

After watching the 1st episode color me intrigued!

I noticed the All Star cast:
-From Game Of Thrones Ser Jorah (Mr. Friendzone) and the asshole training instructor of the Night's Watch (Who's still an asshole in here it seems).
-That dude from Line Of Duty
-Mark Bonnar, thespian extraordinaire & the voice of Blackbeard in AC Black Flag.

Feels so far like a take on Stephen King's The Mist, will watch some more 🙂

i don't know who is in it except Iain Glen. I always get him mixed up with Peter Mullan :messenger_grinning_sweat:

I just watched the trailer for The Rig. sorry but i just fucking hate listening to scottish people in shows/movies. Sounds so fake and cringey. It's like they are trying to tone it down for English/Americans to understand.
 
this is the best example of a good scottish voice in a movie. Under the Skin (with Scarlett Johansson). Probably cause the guy's not an actor

I loved phones with physical keyboards! When I was in school I could look at the teacher and still type messages under the table.

i used to get upset about plants and trees. i know they are alive but i felt sad for them when they got cut. if someone chops down a tree or cuts grass it makes me sad.

now i am starting to feel the same way about computers. i feel bad for all the old outdated hardware and think that computers are alive. what goes on in their circuitry?

fuck yeah. touch typing rules. iam doing it right now on my keyboard.

i've seen some add on keyboards for phones but they look dumb. give me a blackberry keyboard or even an old nokia keypad. texting on those was cool.

I'm pretty sure kids these days can type on their phones without looking at them while doing some TikTok dance, so I'd say this is more of an skill issue :D
