Fun story of the day: how I inadvertently obtained someone's dick pills(?) (which were probably laced with fent)
Was driving to the store with my son, and we saw a pair or really nice leather loafers on the side of the road, and strangely they had rolled up socks in them. We made a joke about whoever was wearing them was probably struck by lightning but their shoes and socks survived. Anyway, really nice looking, expensive pair of shoes.
On the way back from the store, maybe 45 minutes later, we're driving home through the neighborhood and notice that they're still there. I asked my son to pull over, so he did while I opened up the passenger side door and swiped the shoes (with socks still in them). As I'm opening the door, my son says "hey dad, hurry up!", and I look back to see one of my neighbors rolling up behind us in their methmobile. As he starts forward again, they pull up right behind him, and they're riding his ass. We came to a four way stop, and I told him he should turn left (instead of right, which is towards our house) to see if they follow us - which thankfully they did not. But it was the first time I thought "maybe something is up with these shoes".
I take a minute to fully inspect the shoes - these are nice shoes. I remove the socks, and see that there is a pill bottle inside one of the shoes. I read the label, and it says "take one hour before needed for the symptoms of erectile dysfunction". I did not recognize the name of the pill, it wasn't Viagra. Given my neighborhood, this might have just been someone's drug stash they shoved in their dick pill bottle.
Anyway, the way he had turned left us in kind of empty lot thing that butted up against the woods, so I put the pills back in the shoes and threw the whole thing out into the trees. Might make a squirrel happy.
We were kind of dreading going back home, thinking the neighbor might be waiting for us, about how we might have interrupted some asynchronous drug deal. Thankfully he had already left by the time we got there, and nobody's said shit to us for the past six hours since this happened, so I think we're in the clear.
Important lessons were learned.
EDIT: this is what a methmobile looks like
