Friend's husband on Grindr (believe me or believe not) + Grindr tutorial post #518

Oh, of course not, if you are a single person or in an open relationship. However, if you are in a committed relationship, which from the OP's jumbled contexts seems to be the case, then a problem starts arising. Especially if this person does bareback and he ends up being the bottom.

I only bareback with GAF members.

This has all turned out to being brain numbingly boring compared to OP's previous thread, "No Headphones, Tug and Yank, Nate's Sister Heard him Spank: AWKWARD Bedroom Boogaloo."

Hopefully he told his friend that her husband was secretly looking for a hot dog/s to put between his buns (or vice versa) and all is well. Knowing OP's luck though, the husband probably chased him down the street whilst wildly shooting his gun at him and missing everything with high pitched bayou banjo music playing really loudly from somewhere nearby.

If Nate doesn't post soon I'm going to be looking for the news headline that reads "Enraged Woman Murders Friend Upon Hearing News of Cheating Husband"

She deserves to know, but it's their marriage and their problem.

Let's not make too big an issue out of the barebacking thing, straight guys cheating aren't all using condoms - it's just that this ad specifically mentions BB because that's the usual kind of info you see on gay hook-up sites. And, this ad MAY just be part of a fantasy. Just because he made the profile doesn't mean he's actually acting on it. Which is exactly why it would be better to go to him rather than the wife, not to threaten him but to say if he is having unprotected sex (with whoever) then it's not fair on her and he needs to put her health and safety before his own sexual appetites.

This may sound selfish, but I think the general rule of thumb for cheating scenarios is:

- friends with the cheater? Don't say shit
- friends with the one being cheated on? It's your friendly obligation to tell
- friends with both? Tell the cheater they have X amount of days to stop or tell, or you will tell yourself

If a friend ever finds out that you knew and didn't tell them, you will probably lose that friend.

Ah, so you need a two-handed grip on it then.

...yes.

Got a "caught cheating" story I was very semi-involved in.

My girlfriend and I weren't exclusive at first, and she'd been seeing this guy a few months before me, we'll call him Bart. She broke it off with him about a month after we were seeing each other to only start seeing me. Months pass and she stays very minimally in contact with him, he texts her once about missing having sex, etc etc.

Fast forward to two months ago. My girlfriend has had a new manager for a while at her job, whose she's made great friends with, we'll call her Lisa. One day Lisa's boyfriend comes in to visit and low and behold it's Bart. My girlfriend is a bit surprised, and eventually asks Lisa how long Lisa and Bart have been dating. Apparently two years, and they've been talking about moving in together. My girlfriend is a bit surprised because she had a FWB thing with Bart and knew he was sleeping with other people when they were. My girlfriend tells Lisa and gives proof of texts and OKC messages, Lisa asks her boyfriend, he claims they were on a break at the time, etc etc etc.

TLDR; when I was sleeping with my girlfriend she was sleeping with this dude who was the boyfriend of the women who eventually became my girlfriend's manager. All in a city of almost a million people.

Everyone, please notice that the poster's gf actually told the other woman about Bart having a FWB thing with her and it was up to Lisa and Bart to figure out the rest. This is how it's supposed to work, not running to Bart first.

I'm about to go take a dump. If TwoBitNate isn't back with a full conclusion by the time I get back, I move that we all vote that he should be required to take a picture of the husband's cock in his mouth to prove he's gay (ala Cartman + Butters)

Consensus, GAF? I think that is the only "true" proof Nate can provide for not only the wife, but the GAF-dom as well.

Given how OP just keeps stumbling into weird situations like these, there might have been another twist.

Unbeknownst to Nate, his sister accidentally had a peep of her brother's phone and now thinks that Nate is having bareback sex with random strangers, one of whom us the husband of their mutual friend, Margarette.

Sister wonders what to do with his brother, who had just terrorised her weeks ago with his nightly activities and decides to go tell the wife her findings

nah, they're related. I bet she made a thread in a jbiebsfanclub forum asking for help "my brother is masturbating to my neighbor's husband's penis picture, what should I do biebettes?"

There's a "bros before hos" mentality shared by some in this thread. Problem is, Nate is supposedly bros with the wife, not the husband.

Well this threads turned into a huge bore.

Don't be makin threads you can't update OP, the people deserve better.

I had almost forgotten about the thread.

Ok so here goes nothing:

This morning I woke up to texts from the wife wondering what I was calling her about. I apologized and said I didn't realize how late it was, but checked that we were still meeting up after I finished work.

My gay friend, let's call him Paul, isn't too well acquainted with the wife, but I told him to join us so that she wouldn't think I was pulling one over on her or anything.

So after work we all meet up in my backyard. This is the first time I've seen her since I found this whole ordeal began, and me and my buddy were kinda nervous.

I start off by telling her me and Paul have something serious to say that involves her. She looked really confused, since she and Paul aren't all that close.

Paul goes on to explain what Grindr is, and how it allows local gay men to meet up and have sex anonymously. Beforehand, Paul said he had no problem revealing his sexuality to her.

She looked really confused and began to laugh. She asked how it concerned her.

Nate: Well, Wife, take a look at these

I hand her my phone with the pics

Wife: On my god, what the fuck! What the fuck? What is this?

Nate: We found Husband on that app and didn't know what to do. We set up an account to see if it was actually him and sent us those pictures.

She began sobbing and it broke my heart.

Wife: So Husband is gay?!

Nate: Most likely. He also admitted to being okay with unprotected sex. I'd get checked out as soon as possible.

More sobbing and then she hugged us both

I ask her what she'd like us to do.

Wife: I want to catch the fucker

Me and Paul immediately NOPE her. We explain that will only lead to bad news and police cases. She (thankfully) agrees.

We help her home and then to another friend's house.

Obviously this post is a little TL;DR version. One of the most emotional encounters I've ever experienced and I just hope she comes out healthy.

I dont know if she's confronted her husband yet, but I pray everything goes well.

You know, just the other day I was thinking I was too old to be part of the internet. Thanks for providing me some WTF internet drama to make me feel young again.

See, GAF? This is how you do it. Bravo Nate.

Welp, in the end, OP, ya did good. Congrats to you and the balls you clearly have since you did the right thing and told your friend what she needed to know instead of simping out and confronting the husband like some people in here suggested.

Regardless of how she handles it from this point out, you did the right thing. You did what you could.
