GI ran a cover story on this game last month, they didn't mention the PS3 version anywhere

GI never ran a cover story on this game, but they did have a small preview for it in last month's issue. In that same magazine, they also had a preview of Mercs 2 and made no mention of the PS3 version there. This thread is full of great info!

Anyway, looks like a gritty war game. Yawnsome.

Have you played Desert Combat or Battlefield 2? If you haven then you'd know why this is going to be one of the better FPS's to be released in 07

wah wah! at least thank the op for the screenshots...

I'm following this because it's supposed to have a really intensive singleplayer campaign, plus fully destructable environments.

A rare shot of Marcus Fenix in his adolescence, before Cole envy drove him to heavy steroid use.

the screaming army guys are unintentionally hilarious, but otherwise it's nicely stylized by prevailing genre standards.

Looks like a decent shooter. Seems like it could be quite an interesting experience. So far it reminds me of a pure multiplayer shooter. Hopefully the singleplayer mode will offer us some fun, too!

I've actually been keeping tabs on this game. I read the article in OXM and several other consoles mags, but the recent "Gaming for Windows" magazine had an extensive article that really got me pumped up to play this game. If they deliver on half of what they've promised this game could be phenomenal on both the console and PC scene. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. ;)

Also the fact the the Kaos studio team purposely bailed after EA bought their previous company give them some chops IMHO. :P
