I think the fact that it's still playing in theaters in Japan (It came out in MARCH in Japan) may also be a reason it's so huge over there. Also, cute characters. Japan has held on to Stitch for far, far, far, far, far longer than the United States of America did.

Also, I want to point out this thing. It's not official.. but.. bwa ha ha ha.. it's great. Oh, the doujinshii that Frozen will inspire at Comiket.

The onslaught of Frozen still has a few more months for Japan.. hang in there.

And admit it, some of you are secretly waiting for Elsa and Anna dakimakura.

I've got to be the only person in the world who hasn't seen this movie, everyone keeps telling me it's the best Disney movie ever > Alladin, Lionking etc etc.

Maybe it's because I've seen it 30 times, but it's way overrated. Too many people wrongly believe it's ushering into some new Disney golden age. Also, its reputation for conveying a feminist/LGBT theme is overplayed and a stretch to say the least.

The movie has some good songs, but the cookie-cutter characters and simplistic plot is more reminiscent of Dreamworks than classic Disney.

I hear ya man. It'll be over soon as it's simply a case of a decent movie getting lucky. It had one good song, no relevant competiton and was probably the first Disney musical movie a lot of little girls saw in a theater. It basically got lucky as shit yet garners comparisons to films that outclass it in every way (Lion King, Aladdin, etc). It was fun my niece loved it but....this isn't the second coming of the Disney renaissance.

I think it is at least as good as Tangled. I only liked parts of HTTYD, and I'm not a fan of Ice Age, so I think Frozen is much stronger than those, but it's in the same ballpark.

I'm starting to sense that all limited edition PS4s this generation are to be half-arsed letdowns with no thought put in to the design or colours, going by how bad they've been up until now (and how bad the LE PS3 super slims were).

Ok I will probably get the 3D Blue-Ray combo pack whenever it comes out in the US. Yeah Tangled was a beautiful film, and the music was superb! How to Train your Dragon was thrilling and had amazing 3D. As for Ice Age, well I just really enjoy the humor in that series. Another one I really liked was Finding Nemo. I still prefer Studio Ghibli hand drawn animation over the CG though.

I liked The Incredibles, Toy Story 3, Kung Fu Panda 2, The Lego Movie, and Wreck it Ralph a fair bit more.

That's a very good question, whenever I forget and accidentally call it Frozen, everyone looks at me puzzled until I say Anna to Yuki no Oujyo which then causes them to light up and tell me how much they liked the movie. Seems like a pretty big oversight to use the english logo.

That seems like an odd statement, wasn't it SE who went to Disney and asked to use their characters for a game and not the other way around?

A world featuring characters from Frozen would be pretty cool, and I'm sure people here would eat it up.
