The Healthy Choice ones are pretty decent... I like their Cafe Steamer meals

They obviously have some additives but probably not as crazy as some of the other frozen meals and the sodium content is actually pretty good.

i love these so much

especially the 'asian' meals

I used to eat a lot of the various frozen dinners posted here, taking them for lunch at work.
Got tired of them quickly.

I still crave these guys now and then though.

Trader Joe's frozen chicken breasts.

Don't even need to defrost.

Preheat the oven to 400, put chicken in oven safe dish and cover with aluminum foil.

35 minutes later you got yourself chicken.

Snack on something if you have issues waiting 30 minutes.

Another hint, invest in a rice cooker and get some rice going.

BAM.

Healthier, cheaper, just as easy.

High five. These are the only frozen meals that I'll eat, they're not bad!

Sorry to necro this thread but I wanted some updated opinions on some of this stuff. Sometimes there's just no leftovers or someone else ate the last slice of bread and I like to have these things on hand for an emergency lunch that I can bring to work.

So far I've been most impressed with the Stouffers and Marie Calendar's Lasagna. Unfortunately these are terribly unhealthy but if they taste good enough I can deal with it, but preferably I would not like to intake 800 calories during lunch hour. The other thing that sucks about the Stouferrs lasagna is that it takes like 15 minutes to cook and I don't want to hog the work microwaves for that long.

Imo best balance of quality / health / price is Lean Cuisine.

If you don't mind the calories... I'd say Boston Market are the best tasting / quality you'll find in an average American market.

Smart Ones are fucking vile. Healthy Choice is beneath LC. (Generally speaking, they both have standouts and duds)

I thought the OP was going to be trolling us with that title and it was going to be about frozen dinners inspired by Frozen.

I've got a new favorite frozen meal. The chicken patties are huge and really good, the mac and cheese isn't bad either, and they're only $1.75 or so. Nice balance between normal shit Banquet and Hungry Man.

Like Evolved1 said, try some Lean Cuisine meals.

I generally stick with Lean Cuisine & Healthy Choice as lunch backups when I don't have leftovers to bring to work. My favorite is likely the "Sweet & Spicy Korean Beef".

I don't generally eat them but some of the Healthy Choice steamer meals were okay, if way too much packaging. They're not all that filling, though, but they are reasonably light on sodium (for a frozen meal) and decently healthy. Just expensive.

Mmm.

Not gonna front it might look bad but the sauce is awesome.
