I always liked the Blade of Artemis in GoW1. It jut felt so powerful, especially the L1 attacks.

Funny how adding the dropped frame effect makes the weapon just feel more powerful. Assuming it was an effect.

-You can get it right at the start of the game by doing Shinra's fiend arena crap and winning two fights
-learns a teleport move that makes the girls do back attack/double damage
-Gets healed by elemental attacks
-Instant kill move (which works on bosses)
-Ability to stop time for 10 seconds to wreck shit or heal
-Eventually gets a move that makes you completely invincible
-no real drawbacks save for lowish damage

No wonder they made people pay extra for this in Japan

Rogue Noise in Mega Man Star Force 3 is amazingly overpowered:
- 1HP barrier that regenerates at the start of every turn
- Normal Sword attacks do an additional 50 damage
- No elemental weakness
