About a week ago I started smelling some disgusting odor coming from my bedroom. At first I thought it was coming from my roof since it was leaking a bit since there was some heavy rain going on for the past couple of days. After the rain stopped & my roof was no longer leaking, the odor was still there so I start looking elsewhere to locate the origin of the stench . Eventually, I end up looking around my balcony( located outside my bedroom ) and to my suprise I see cat shit fucking EVERYWHERE. I figure cats took refuge on my balcony during the rain & decided to take a shit while they were there. So it took me about an hour to clean and disinfect my balcony.
Fast forward to this evening, after eating dinner I go upstairs to my room and I smell the same odor from last week, I go to the balcony, and there it is, FUCKING CAT SHIT!!

So does anyone know of any good cat repellent or am I going to have to put mesh over my balcony?

How do you know it's cat shit? I have a cat, I scoop cat shit out of a box all the time, and I don't think I could differentiate cat shit from other kinds of small animal shit.

Anyway, cats hate citrus. Get some cleaner or something that has a strong citrus smell and use it out there, that might do the trick.

I don't think dogs can climb up to my balcony, & cats have already climbed up there before.

Citrus smells can keep them away. Put orange peels all over the place. Just note that you may need to clean real thoroughly to get rid of the smell since they now your balcony with a litterbox.

You sure its cat shit? cat's are pretty clean when it comes to taking shits. They don't shit on random places like dogs, only places where they can put earth or something over it afterwards.

Exception would be if something about you or your balcony pisses them off but that's unlikely if they don't live in your house.
