Will be seeing this tonight.

Paul Walkers scenes and most likely end scene will have me shedding a tear.

Lucas Black's scene is hilarious.
They re-use footage from the end of Tokyo Drift (the final scene where Dom shows up for the race, complete with Lil Bow Wow), then cut straight to new footage shot specifically for this movie to continue that scene, so Lucas ages nine years between shots :P

I feel liked the correct way to handle that would have been
to re-shoot that ending scene of Tokyo drift again for this movie shot for shot. Sort of like how in Back to the Future 2 they reshot the end of BTTF1 with the new actress that plays McFly's girlfriend.

O ya know. Just embarrassing the dumb situation they have found themselves in and not trying to hide it works as well and seems suit the franchise better.

That's how I feel.
Shifting the whole chronology of the series around in order to bring Han back for part four is the 'shit just got real' moment for me; the point where the series went from some dumb action movies to something I unabashedly adore, so I've got no problem with them wearing it on their sleeve. Embrace the silliness, as far as I'm concerned. I would have loved to see Dom make a crack about everyone in Japan driving decade-old cars :P

Just came out of the movie

The girls
1.0

The cars
1.0

The action
1.0

The physics
1.0

Other than the spotty CGI and the awkward drama scenes, greatest blockbuster action flick in ages.

Fun as fuck.
That final scene with the splitting road, man... :(

I disliked
god's eye and the drone part even with the rock crashin an ambulance into it

Fantastic movie, but man that ending was really hard to watch.

"You will always be my brother" I nearly cried when Vin said that.

Gonna catch up on the movies over the next couple of days (Tokyo Drift was the last one I saw, I think), then catch a Sunday matinee. Gonna be a fun weekend.

Just came back. I was on the edge of my seat for the great action pieces, and there are a lot of them.

But guys, be prepared to cry at the end, obviously. My eyes got a little wet at the end, even my wife made fun of me lol. I shouldn't have marathoned the series, as I got too attached to the characters.
But fantastic send off, moreso with the white Import for Paul

So fucking hyped for this. I'm catching my GF up on the movies and we're halfway through 4 right now. Gotta watch 5 and 6 before tomorrow!

Really enjoyed the movie, tons of fun. That scene at the end, didn't think I would shed a tear from a fast and furious movie but it would have been hard not to at that.

best 2 are next....I'm re-watching 5&6 tonight and tomorrow as well. Saturday cannot come any quicker....so fucking hyped!

Also first movie doing reserved seating.....and there is no way I'm going back to the traditional gamble of hoping good seats are available.

I don't know if this is crazy or not, but my local theater is showing this movie 16 times Friday and Saturday. Hopefully I can catch it at some point this weekend.

only 16? my theater dedicated over 40 movie times for Friday and Saturday......I won't be surprised if they open even more, I've heard of them even doing a 2am(Sunday) showing if the demand is real.

Yeah, I mean, it's not a large theater, but it's a lot more than most movies get there I think. I dunno, I could be wrong. Maybe it's because a lot are split between regular and 3D when I check the times.

mines not real big either, but its funny because Wednesday and Thursday has all these diverse movies.....come Friday and Saturday

Furious 7 is the ONLY movie they are showing lol

I'm bailing out of this thread until after seeing it tonight, but needless to say, I can't wait for new 7pm midnight to get here. We have a sizeable group of F&F fans here at Volition.

Just got done with the movie. Movie is a straight up popcorn flick, huge scenes with cheesy dialogues yet everything. Everyone's like a superhero who doesn't fire and invincible.

Now on to Paul Walker, there's a huge roar in the theater when he first appeared on screen and not a single person moved nor talked during the ending. I don't think they could have done the ending better. Going to miss this guy.

I can't believe how hard it must be for his family to see him one last time oh the big screen.

I don't understand the One Last Time thing when they already announce a number 8...

I'm guessing it's one last ride with Paul?

I hear you man, guess what, you ain't alone on this one. That ending hit me hard

I'm really excited to see this and was at the Pike's Peak Hill Climb when Paul drove the Pacecar to start the event.

Here's my pic.

Yeah, it was the same last night when I saw it, the entire time you had somebody talking, giggling, but during those last few minutes no one made a sound, a bunch of people crying silently, a really well made scene.

Great movie btw, perfect blockbuster, I have a hard time imagining how The Avengers 2 will top this for me.
