So I came from Prince of Persia (which was an okay movie, but that's not the subject here). Entering the theater at the front they had a demo of this D Box seating. First time I've ever seen this and watching people go through the demo looked...dizzy. Here's the site for reference.

Now, I didn't get a chance to watch the movie in these fancy red space chairs but I sat behind the last row of them. First off, no, I am not going to pay $14 for a movie ticket. Second, if theaters or whoever it is that's in charge of all this 3D/D Box nonsense, figure to put both 3D and D Box in a theater and charge $30, entertainment can go straight to hell.
So first impressions was the announcer saying that each seat can set their own sensitivity to their liking. My guess is everyone was set to ludicrous setting cause whenever a bass chord happened between the action or what not, that shit would vibrate like no other. I really thought my feet would of turned numb.
During the movie we had camera pans showing off the scene, etc. All the while I'm seeing four rows of heads in front of me swaying to and from along with the camera. Draw me some paper and strike some acid down for that kind of trip. People would fall from a building, and the seat would move forward, making the viewer feel as if they were perhaps falling as well.
As an observer, this shit looks way to distracting. Plus there are those who sit behind them a row or three who have to watch two things going on. The movie and heads flying all over the place. If there are those who've had the experience of trying a D Box, share your stories. Love and peace.
