Thank you very much, means a lot.chaostrophy said:Gorgeous. Wonderful colors. When I ranted earlier in this thread about the digital antique or pseudo-film look often being overdone to my taste, an image like this is what I had in mind of what an image like that should aspire to look like when it comes to color tonality.
Nice photos! What is this bird called?Joe said:

Cardinals are pretty much every where in north and south america. Pretty birds.JLateralus said:That's a cardinal. We have them in Illinois, not sure where else they're at.
Cosmic Bus said:Your black and whites are always excellent, so I'm not sure worrying about shooting color should even be a concern.
YES. It's my default lens for the 500D (t1i?). I can't believe there's no huge competition in the "normal lens for crop-factor sensor"-segment.koam said:Do you guys recommend the Sigma 1.4 30mm for a canon t2i?

BlueTsunami said:Your second and fourth photographs are sick, koam. Love the look. And you feel the need to shoot during the day, I've been wanting to shoot at night :lol

@Chaostrophy - I love the shot of the doors, it's actually quite frightening to me for some reason. :lol[/QUOTE]
Man, I love your B&Ws. It's something I want to get better at myself...
8mm rectilinear optics (or is it a corrected fisheye image?)?! Which one is it?mrnorush said:

Edit: One second after the initial shock I see it's the new Sigma zoom. Fffuuu 8mm is pretty awesome if it actually delivers. How's the edge sharpness and CA?
