honestly im surprised people dont ask you. When I show people my portfolio full of landscapes and wildlife shots they ask "do you do weddings" "will you do my portrait?" I made quite a bit of extra money from portrait work which was cool.

so what UV filter do you guys recommend for a T2i 18-55?

or do you guys even use UV filters anyway? I was looking at 58mm HMC Haze Hoya
