Wow, people are actually disgusted by this to the point where they can't even look at the pictures? Looks like you weren't tubgirl'd, goatse'd, and lemonparty'd enough as children. And hopefully none of you plan on being nurses or doctors in the future .

How did the web influence you or did it make you dull? I mean with all those crazy and disgusting pictures and movies mentioned above and the 24/7-accessibility of hardcore porn etc.
Do you feel that you are not that sensitive anymore or not that much like other people who don't browse the web that often?
If you were a father or a mother of a child, would you forbid the access of the Internet to your children? For how long? Would you control them if they browse the web?

EDIT: Personally, I've seen goatse and that's about it; I try to avoid all this stuff. Particularly the murder/rape stuff; even seeing/hearing some of the 9/11 stuff was nearly too much for me.

Personally, I've come a long way. 3 years ago I couldn't sit through A Clockwork Orange.
Now I'm at a level way above that but still below the goatse etc stuff. I'm at a comfortable stage and honestly people who are ok with the goatse/etc stuff are either able to control the bad and the good very well in their minds or seriously need help.

I remember on my first tours of the internet, usually with my brother, we'd visit sites that had all kinds of weird pictures, from normal funny stuff to more shocking things like granny/freaky porn, accidents, gory stuff... at first it was just interesting but sometimes the images would bug me... then when I accidentally stumbled upon goatse I'd really had enough and I learned how to avoid all that stuff (for the most part)

Now I can stand to see stuff like that when it's displayed with a certain amount of taste, like the fetus pics, or some iraqi dude's entire head splattered across a road on snopes. It seems that I can take it if I know the story behind it, but as soon as it's about showing it for sheer entertainment purposes (like on ogrish) I can't stand to see stuff like that
