Good luck. I failed twice before passing. On my first two attempts I was very stressed and anxious - first roundabout I nearly crashed on my first test so you probably won't be as bad as me!

On my third attempt I just couldn't care less and drove with no stress, and managed to pass.

The nerves are hitting knowing my brother will be here soon to go with me. Less nervous then I was. Just taking deep breaths. haha

The written test I took for my permit was super easy. I read the book 4 times through the night before. The computer stopped me from answering the rest because it was impossible to fail. Ridiculous questions though. Like saying should you signal for a turn 100 feet away or 1000 feet. So easy

Blindspot checks and mirror checks dude -- both are huge and I almost guarantee you that you will be docked points if you don't do them

Don't let your nerves get to you that much, it should be a short test

I do them so much. It's been drilled into my head. My friend made me give him a nickel every time I didn't check one or the other in a necessary situation.

Remember your hands should be at 3 and 9 not 10 and 2. Remember your hand signals, they check that before you start driving. Check your mirrors every 10-20 seconds.

Good, I remember those two things being heavily emphasized by my driving instructor a couple years ago... they're good driving habits to get into doing and the earlier the better.

60 hours of practice is a damn good amount, you should be fine.

Best of luck to you!

Quick tip: look around everywhere, especially when you're pulling out of spots and in the process of doing a three point turn. It'll show you're aware and very observant to what's going on around you.

I did this, messed up on my parallel parking, and still passed.

Got mine last year at 35 and it changed my life! Good luck. Remember your hill parking and other arcane driving theory! Remember right of way.

You can do this!

Drive cautiously. Make your head movements obvious when you check your mirrors/blind spots so that the instructor can see them.

Excellent advice. When I took mine and finally passed on my forth attempt I was really confident and called out all the shit I was doing just so they knew that I knew.

HEAVILY EXAGGERATE HEAD MOVEMENTS. Make sure the instructor knows what you're looking at. When changing lanes, make sure to look to the sides, out of the window instead of just using your mirrors.
One tip I got before my test was to wear a baseball cap so the examiner can see the bill moving.

It is really easy. I practiced for about 1 hour before I did it and passed. Just drive the speed limit, look into the mirror while you are driving even though you don't have too just so they think you know what you are doing

Good luck. For what it's worth I found the driving test to be easy and even though I fucked up parallel parking really bad I still past. From what I remember the most important thing was to check your mirrors and signal properly Then again it was a different state and quite a while ago now.

Watch this to get some tips. And pray you don't get uncle Phil as your examiner.

I just took one a couple of weeks ago. It was pretty easy and took around 40 minutes. Note: I had a license for 17 years before letting it lapse a couple of years ago due to an injury.

When I took my test I was finished in about 15 minutes. Just had to go a little ways and circle around and head back. I didn't even have to park when we got back. The reason being that only one parking space was left so they blocked it off with cones. Unfortunately the cones weren't enough to stop a motorcycle. :p

Good luck!

Almost my turn I think. Jesus, this wait is ridiculous. But for fun, one of the testers looks like Teddy Long. Holla!!
