For those of you who enjoy sodas (I mostly tend to drink Diet Dr. Pepper when I get a soda craving), however interestingly enough there was a good old fashioned talk about which was better. I felt like a little kid talking about this stuff again, but from the mass amounts I drank back in the day I always thought Pepsi tasted better...Coke tastes like flat Pepsi =\.

But I ask my peers at GAF what do you like better:

Pepsi: III

Coke:
IIIII

Coke for sure.. but I dont like Coke much unless it's from the fountain. Dr. Pepper (and it's derivatives) is probably my favorite soda all-around.

I used to absolutely love Coca-Cola.

But drank too much of it and decided i was best of giving it up. Now i only drink Diet-Caffeine free versions of both. Neither are too bad once you get used to it.

So a vote for coke to me. How i miss the taste. LOL.

To me, Pepsi has always tasted like overly sweet Coke. As weird as it may sound in describing soda, Coke has always tasted "richer" to me. I only drink diet now, but even as a kid I preferred regular Coke to regular Pepsi for pretty much the same reasons. That being said, I'm not a huge fan of Cola anymore, period. At home, if I'm drinking soda, it will usually be Diet Mountain Dew or even something like Diet Brisk. I think I've just had so much cola in my life that I'm forever sick of the taste. At a restaurant though, I'm always disappointed when they have only Pepsi. For some reason, restaurant fountain Pepsi varies ever more in quality than Coke, and I've had some really nasty fountain Pepsi from restaurants.

I'd pick Coke, but to be perfectly honest I don't think I've had a Pepsi in a few years. I don't drink much soda these days.

I'd don't drink Cola too much, but out of the two I'd say Pepsi, it's less sugary than Coke.

Coke when from a fountain
Pepsi when from a bottle

since I rarely every buy soda unless at a restaurant I will have to go with Coke

COKE

Am I the only one who thinks they taste exactly the same?
While they do taste a bit different, I don't think I care enough to prefer one over the other.
Both taste better with a slice of lemon or lime in them, btw (and let's not get started on the lemon/lime coke/pepsi variants)

FTW.

Pepsi just tastes sharper than Coke.

Coke has a much flatter taste. I've swapped between the 2 before, but now I just prefer Pepsi by far. You get more a kick from Pepsi, and yeah ice cold for the win.

On the rare occasion that I drink soda, and the choice is between Coke and Pepsi, I drink Coke.

And yes, coke is also better for mixed drinks.

edit: Why are there so many threads about food/drinks/cooking tonight :lol

I drink Coke. Pepsi is too sweet I think. And Coke = America, Pepsi = Korea or something.

Are you ANTI AMERICAN? U R IF U DRINK PEPSI!11

oh uh :lol

Coke.

It's got a rich flavor, more caramel, good for mixing too.

Pepsi is too sugary sweet, if you have crushed ice in it then it goes better with pizza, tacos, hotdogs and sub sandwiches than Coke does. Coke goes better with chinese food, italian food, savory breakfast items (like at Dennys), burgers and other real beef products. Coke is also better with chicken but I usually go for Sprite with that (which is a Coca-Cola product).

Pepsi is better from cans, Coke is better from bottles.
