How about the country with the most bald eagles in it gets to vote on the definition of a biscuit?

I believe Canada has more bald eagles. I speak for Canada and agree with the Commonwealth. The word is French and calling a scone a biscuit would be like calling a spoon a fork. It makes no sense.

all you brits ain't got nothing on this man

God, they tried to feed me this when I was in Basic in Georgia, haven't been so disgusted since oysters were tried for the first time. I don't know what that white shit is, but it sure ain't gravy. The scones/biscuits were good, but that white sauce and mince was terrible.

depends a lot on context, but my overall love has to be the fig roll.

Rich Tea is great in a cup of coffee, figuring out that fine boundary between 'not quite soggy enough' and 'half falls off into coffee'. Digestives similarly good with a nice cup of tea.

Fine, just leave us to our identity crisis laden diets and our hand-ball-egg. We know when we aren't wanted. I'm Canadian by heritage, do I get any say in this? Haha.

Seriously though, my mind was blown when I learned that biscuits are scones. Where did the American scone come from then?

Its hard to beat the good old Rich Tea when it comes to plain biscuits. These are kings of the chocolate biscuits:

When it comes to biscuits I'm not picky. Basically anything but Oreo.

But since they haven't been mentioned:

Chocolate Fingers.

The traditional cream scone. (Scones are typically made with cream, eggs, always with butter and always sweetened. Biscuits are not.)

I have no clue why Starbucks scones turn out so dry. They probably just leave them out for too long.

I hate chocolate fingers because if I open a packet it means I'm going to eat them in maybe 10 minutes.
