GAF's most impressive eating achievements?

I'll order a family-style portion of Italian food and eat the whole thing by myself...

My brother and I challenged one another to an eating contest at Thanksgiving one year when I was 17 and he 14. We weighed ourselves prior to and after stuffing our faces.

Total weight gain for me = 5 POUNDS!!

No lie, no shit. I didn't eat for 2 days afterwards, and have NEVER stuffed myself that silly again.

I was 6 foot tall and about 165 pounds at the time.

I looked like one of those Ethiopian kids with the distended stomach.

I'm beat in this category. Best accomplishments I can think of are Chipotle related.

Ate one burrito (barbacoa, lettuce, hot salsa, cheese, beans, rice) in under a minute.

Ate 3 1/2 burritos (first one had to be double meat) in an eating contest against a girl. Of course I lost the competition because some how this very small girl ate 4. Of course, she added teh rules that I had to eat double meat on the first burrito and she could just have vegetarian burritos.

I actually hold the record at my local Hooters for eating 158 Wings in one sitting. Happened about 4 years ago. I use to go to Hooters alot for their all you can eat on Wednesday for $7.99.

I have now developed a distaste for their wings, I miss liking them =/

Back in later years of high school, my summer lunch would consist of the following:

Two sandwiches, each with 4-5 slices of cold cut, mayo, sliced boiled egg
two packets of Ramen
30 dumplings

That wasn't bad for back in the days.

I know a dude who had a bet with a really good friend of his over a Wotsit (savoury/cheesey snack in the UK) eating challenge. They bought like 50 packs each - all for one sitting. The pussies only made it to about 36 packets.

But it sounded quite traumatic. Cut mouths. Nightmares. Sweating. Grubby fingers. All sorts of side effects.

All things in moderation people.

I can't recall the most I've ever eaten in one sitting... but some of my bigger meals have consisted of:

- a whole chicken (sans skin & obvious fat bits). ~2kg
- 9 servings of KD mac & cheese (looong time ago)
- 5 packets of instant noodles (again, long time ago)
- a box of raisin bran (775g) + ~2L of skim milk (well, a significant portion of the 4L jug was gone when I was finished) + 3 large bananas
- 1.5kg of peas and carrots + 8 large eggs + half a cabbage

I once at an "Elvis Burger"

1 lb. beef
6 slices of cheese
9 slices of bacon
1 cup peanut butter.

The thing nearly killed me.

I also once ate a 9 scoop banana split.

I ate at white castle and krystals on the same day once when I was a kid.

I'll never forget that next day.

nor will the people that had to clean that gas station bathroom

Most impressive eating achievement? Boy that's a tough one.

One time I ate one pizza, two Italian Cheese Bread, and one Crazy bread from Little Caesars and I also ate six and a half plates at a local Chinese buffet.

That is kind of fucking enormous for a chicken, isn't it? Where did you get it?

There are pics of me out there. I don't look bad according to some gaffers.

NVM, change of plans, family in Panda Express for me today!

I love eating a whole box of orange chicken along with fried rice.

Back in my days of raving, I remember (well, sorta kinda remember) going to a McD's after a massive, and ordering a Double Quarter-Pounder extra value meal (super-sized), a 20-piece Chicken McNugget, 2 Double Cheeseburgers, a McChicken & 2 Apple Pies...

....the amazing part of this story is that I had consumed all of it before my friends had even sat down with their food :lol

No pictures here, but I can tell you that I'm 6'4 and weigh about 180. Slim, not much of a gut. I eat a ton when I'm in the mood (relatively often), though.

Women HATE me. :lol

I have to know what your avatar is from.

Also Ive eaten mickey D's at least 5 days a week for the last 8+ months.
Free food = hard to turn down.

I never got how the people that do competitive eating actually eat that much that fast. I start gagging/choking on regular food sometimes.

They don't even look like they chew in those competitions.
If you mean me, I do chew! The problem comes from say, steak, that is too chewy and just takes forever and I start gagging.

Jelly Tones

Which features a personal favorite: Extras

Oh, an I've also not eaten at a McDonald's (or any other fast food burger place) for the past decade. I have eaten at Taco Bell once and at KFC a couple of times.

I hate that feeling. I feel like a monkey that was too stupid to eat at a normal pace.

I can eat food really fast. I take like one or two bites then swallow. I can eat a cheese burger in like two bites. And go through a whole pizza in like under 2 minutes.
I also ate a foot long Philly cheese stake and 45 buffalo wings in one sitting. I didn't eat buffalo wings again for like a year.

Oh, and I'm super jacked and tan, so I'm also in better shape than all of you. So let's not turn my inevitable victory into a negative. If you can't be a man about it, don't even step. :lol

This is where the big boys play.

That's right. Genetically different.
No one can compare to my eating skills. You can't be taught this shit.

I know, it's the style I prefer but too many gagchokes = gotta get medium well or so instead.

That sucks. Even cutting finely won't help?

I would honestly give up eating steak in all likelihood if I had to eat them cooked at Medium or more.

In college all I really knew how to cook was bacon and eggs so my favorite dinner became a dozen eggs (scrambled w/ cheese) and a pound of bacon.

It freaked my roommates out as I'm 6ft tall and weighed about 130lbs at the time. My eating habits have changed (slightly) since then, but it still makes a damn good dinner.

- Taco Bell nacho cheese chalupa
- Wendy's five piece nugget
- McDonald's large fries
- Burger King cheeseburger
- Dairy Queen large Reece's blizzard
- White Castle jalepeno cheese burger
- KFC Biscuits & gravy
- Arbys curly fries
- Fazolis breadsticks (2)
- Sonic 44oz 'ocean water'
- Subway cookie
- something from Pizza Hut, I don't remember
- misc fish item from Long John Silvers

protip: get the blizzard last

1. 21 1/2 slices of pizza

2. 14 menu items at various fast food places: I don't remember every item, but I know it at least included Super size drink, bacon ultimate cheeseburger, super size fries, a couple orders of nachos from taco bell, a gordita, a double quarter pounder from another place, etc. It was enough for about 5 people.

3. I ate a octuple quarter pounder a few year ago. Not that much food, but the amount of cheese made me really sick.

4. I ate a quarter pounder/chicken patty/fishwich/bacon/ham burger one time. Yum.

It took me five minutes to waddle from my friends car to the front door of my house on the 2nd occasion. Since I wasn't a fatty and had a high metabolism I was okay after about 5 hours. The fist occasion was for a bet on who could eat the most. Surprisingly I was only sick for about 2 hours after that one.

edit: last weekend I ate 8 taquitos, a plate of nachos, 6 chicken strips, 5 jalapeno poppers, 2 quesadillas, a burrito, a shot of whiskey, a glass of coke, and 5 pints of beer in one sitting. Then I sang "Pour some sugar on me" karaoke!

Wow, there are some real men in this thread.

To all the naysayers, I certainly do chew. I just don't stop to talk and look around and do all of that other needless bullshit. I'm there to make that plate my bitch. Every meal is a competition.

One day about... maybe 6-7 years ago now, I ate:

- 1 Tall $4 can of Chef Boyardee Ravioli. Uncooked. I just opened it and ate them with a fork.

- 6 microwave corn dogs. I dipped them in the leftover sauce in the ravioli can.

- 1 slice of frozen Claim Jumper Motherlode cake. For those who don't know, that's a 6-layer cake that's probably a foot long when it's laying on the plate, and is 3000 calories by itself.

Haven't eaten like that before or since.

1994. I ate around 18 pieces of barbecued chicken,10 tacos, about 8 hotdogs, two plates of Mashed potatos,a pretty good plate of country baked beans, about 4 tortillas,4 huge slices of cheesecake,5 sodas, one of them was even fucking diet.

That was the worst day afterwards. I was so bloated I couldn't stand. Couldn't sit,it hurt to breath. Friends wanted me to play football at that picnic,I couldn't do shit and looked like a bloated 190 pound guy. I disappeared and went home early. Went for a walk but still for the next 36 hours I felt like a complete bastard for eating so much.

Nowdays if I did that 911 would have to be dialed.
:lol
