I don't really agree with any of these. I don't have any experience with either Pikmin or Firaxis so I don't know how good a fit they would be. Konami on 3D Metroid makes no goddamn sense at all - what have they done to prove they could do that brand justice?!
I would suggest the following, and I'm going to try and stick with realistic suggestions which could happen and Nintendo could afford, so no Bungie working on Metroid, or Media Molecule working on Paper Mario or anything like that:
2D Metroid - Drinkbox Studios (Guacamelee), Vatra Games (Silent Hill Downpour, Rush'n Attack: Ex Patriot)
3D Metroid - Rocksteady (Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City)
F-Zero - Firesprite (unproven, but formed from the ashes of Sony Liverpool; i.e. known for Wipeout)
StarFox - Traveller's Tales (Lego games, Haven), Insomniac Games (Ratchet & Clank)
Stunt Race FX - Criterion (Burnout, Need for Speed) or whoever formed from the ashes of Black Rock Studio (according to Wikipedia: "several ex-employees have formed new studios, including Roundcube Entertainment, ShortRound Games and Boss Alien")
Uh, I've got brain freeze and can't think of any more dormant Nintendo franchises right now. Most of all, it would do them some good to farm out a few of their projects so their lead team or teams can focus on new stuff. I want to see at least one new IP with a strong central character and a decent level of storytelling from them.
