I really didn't believe this thing existed, but it definitely does. Check out my little mini review. Any of you ever encounter this before? I know they made a N64 version as well but that seems to be super rare.

I remember reading about this back in the late 90s. Pokemon was so huge that companies were eager to develop add ons like this.

Owned both this one and the one on the N64.

The N64 one was fine but...no sound emulation. Just a terrible 30 second loop of music that cannot be stopped or turned off

Never seen this one before o_o PS1 had some crazy third party peripherals, like a Video CD adapter and a 3.5" floppy <-> memory card adapter

That's slightly different though. That's basically just a GBA clone that's being given power to run via the SNES. The video out is from the cart, not the SNES. It's a device that can basically run without the SNES.

I had one for my PS1, got it for my birthday probably around 1999 or so. IIRC, it would only work on one of our PS1s because one did not have the expansion slot.

To be honest I'm not sure if its an emulation issue of the Port doesn't have any outputs for audio to channel out.
