GameFAQs gets a massive redesign

Does this count as news?

WHAT HAPPENED TO MY GAMEFAQS?
We've launched a new version of the site, "V13", a more modern and stylish version of GameFAQs.

WHY DID YOU CHANGE THINGS?
We created this new version of the site for many reasons. First of all, the use of modern HTML/CSS it lets us do away with the mobile site completely. This version looks correct regardless of screen size, making it perfect for phones, tablets, laptops, computers, etc. It can also responsively respond to size changes on the fly, ensuring it will look correct even when you change the browser window size. The underlying code remains the same, but it is presented in a much cleaner manner.

Other important factors include a more consistent look throughout the site and code that is much easier to maintain on our end.

Looks terrible lol

lol fucking stoopid l2code

I apologize, I should stop ripping on GameFAQs, but man, I've been using the MH3U stuff and the threads are a pain to read.

Maybe to work with the Xbox One's snap Internet Explorer feature?

EDIT: As I putz through the website, it looks exactly the same as the old GameFAQS...what was the point then?

I don't mind the template, but I have a major problem with the colors.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

It's different but at the same time... it's not. Good job, I guess.

I find it funny how they switched to 3D while most sites are transitioning to 2D. Look at The Verge and Polygon, for example.

woah.... crazy.

I've had an account on gamefaqs for what... I think, 17 years? lol. First time I've ever seen it change.

I love that the little explanation about the change is worded as if it was pulled straight from their forum; "WHAT HAPPEN TO MY GAMEFAQS WHY U CHANGE IT?!!!"

There's a lot of empty space between some of the page elements. Otherwise, the site is still snappy and nothing seems outright broken, so I'm sure I'll get used to the change quickly.
