Infamous sounds interesting to me. I just hope the random acts don't get boring, repetitive, or annoying like my experience in the latest GTA.

I wonder what led Sony and Suckerpunch to just ditch EGM and work with Gameinformer instead on the cover story, it just doesn't seem like EGM covers a lot of the big PS3 games these days, Ratchet was probably the last one I remember.

It's not the first time they've done that, although the last time they took away a cover it was from Edge.

Yeah from the few things that where in the OP the game sounds like it will be awesome and I hope Suker Punch can deliver. I wonder as well what the release date for this game will be?

For whatever I've had The Agency and Infamous married as one game in my head until I read that preview. I know they are totally different in every way now, so I have no clue why the melded as one in my brain. The Agency has left me with a major meh feeling, but now that I've come to realize they aren't the same game, holy fuck Infamous sounds awesome! I hope it lives up to that hype, because it sounds super awesome.

Not really. EGM had a cover on Socom Confrontation recently. Their March 2008 issue essentially fellated Sony and the PS3 without even providing any real new info on upcoming games. The cover story for their next issue is Killzone 2.

You really can't say they've been ignoring PS3 games at all, especially when you compare their coverage of Sony related stuff to MS and Nintendo related stuff.

No one can deny CT of its qualities (music gfx, battles, etc), but come on - the plot is as cliched as they come. And I played it in 1995, so doesn't matter who else copied it later.

I played it in 2005 or 06... 06 I think, and I absolutely loved everything in the game. It became one of my favourite games ever. A 10 year-old game at the time, no less; that impressed me.

Thank god. Every piece of info about Infamous is hitting the right notes for me. Its not a TPS (thank god), and it will have some of the parkour elements of Assassin's Creed in (hopefully) a more dynamic setting.

Anytime GI does a cover story on something, it's generally in the GS reserve system the next day.
