Games Convention PROTOTYPE footage

Look man all i get is fucking Bioshock trailer and some bike game.

I've gone through the whole site, to the damn prototype trailer link, and i don't get shit about prototype.

Shitty site.

edit: okay despite snarkiness, i know that's a prerendered trailer but if it's an example of the kind of gameplay situations they're trying to create it sounds pretty damn cool to me
 
So anybody who actually slogged through the site want to tell me that the hell "GC" is?

EDIT: Oh...The game is called "Prototype". OP fails for making is sound like it was a prototype of the GameCube or a game with the acronym of GC.
 
Prototype is the name of the newest game from Hulk : Ultimate Destruction developer, Radical Entertainement.

GC is Game Convention.

Yes. Then I get a blank (black) screen, nothing happens. I click again and I'm taken to fucking MotoGP or something.

The Games Convention part was easy to figure out until I tried to understand why they would need a prototype for it. Read what he wrote. It can mean like 3 or 4 different things depending on what the acronym stands for. Terrible writing. Jeebus. :p

Half the blame goes to Radical/Vivendi/whoever for naming this game "Prototype" to begin with.
 
so did you get it to work? I just tested again and it works just fine for me after the ads, did you try the other link as well?

Small size though so I might be off target here, but the quality here doesn't look that far beyond what they've shown in the screens. Looks crazy.

In any event, this is going to be hot stuff. Real hot stuff.

It's not bad but I don't get the whole "teh US military is teh evil" military hate, it's like that with so many games, "oh teh US iz teh evil, oh teh military general iz teh evil, oh teh president iz teh evil", first of all they're not evil and even if they're evil, SO WHAT? Evil is good, it's good to be evil. All those military folks the main character killed can potentially have wives and kids.

I wonder why they chose Leipzig as location instead of Frankfurt, which is geographically more central and better suited for a convention. Doesn't make any sense to me.

While the theme puts a veteran gamer to sleep, I noticed the intense cinematic Hollywood trailer influence in this videogame trailer.

It's the start of what's inevitably the future of videogame trailers once the media has been fully embraced by the mainstream.

Speaking of which though (or not), I wonder if you can go to a zoo and absorb a bunch of cool animals. So you could create a battle-armored baboon and ostrich prototype, or some such.

Actually, that'd make for some pretty decent DLC.
 
Since this is basically the "follow-up" to one of my fave games from 2005 (Hulk:UD), I'm definitely going to keep an eye on this game. The Game Informer article even talked about online co-op between two players, and how you can not only play through the entirety of story mode together, but you'll get exclusive "tag team" moves too.

This definitely looks to be my type of game. I'll have to tell more of my peeps about it, so that I can hopefully have some cool people to play with.
