The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta both stand out immediately to me. Other games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne come close but FROM always seem to add at one or two awful boss fights for god knows what reason.

I think Rondo of Blood has the most solid line up of bosses in the Castlevania series.

Yep. Only boss in the game that's below average is Fortune. A gimmick boss.

How the hell has nobody mentioned Doom 2016 yet?

I love DOOM, but it has only three bosses. The Cyberdemon was awesome and the Spider Mastermind was pretty darn good, but the Hell Guard dudes were boring, easy, and forgettable. That's a third of the bosses!

Super Mario RPG had great bosses. Loved replaying that game over and over mainly because I didn't dread any boss battles, I enjoyed them all.
