I love tornadoes in video games and unfortunately they are a very underused weather mechanic. Give me some games that feature them. Personally, one of my favorite occurrences is the final boss in Vectorman.

The Tornado Launcher from Ratchet and Clank Future : Tools of Destruction

Notably the thing was fairly hard to use, due to uneven surfaces and the fact that only smaller enemies would be picked up by it. The upgrade shoots lightning which is kinda nice. You control the tornado with the Sixaxis, which felt too sensitive at times if anything.

This is the first game I thought of as well. I only have a vague recollection of it on account of my meager memory, but it feels like i had a lot of fun with it. I seem to recall a very similar nascar game as well.


Edit: Nascar Rumble for the PS1 is the other game. Looks like it was made by the same studio as well.

I was going to post this. DKC: Tropical Freeze. The tornado level has tiny tornadoes that spins you around, and then you're inside a huge tornado, with platforms flying around.
