I still wish for Namco and Monolith Soft to remake Xenosaga trilogy for Switch. Especially since Episode I & III never released in Europe back then, I really would like to play them, but don't really feel like playing on PS2 anymore.
That's the big one for me, too. Remaster in that case would be more of a remakr though. An upscaled PS2-game would be awful.
Having a remastered Xenosaga trilogy using Xenoblade 2-graphics would such a mega announcement for Swich and truly propel its worth as a rpg-system. Not to speak of the hundreds of hours of quality jrpg-time that would give players - and most have never played these, myself included (I'm currently playing Xenogears on Vita for the first time).
Imagine a release timeline like that and I'd have little else left wishing for:
Summer/Fall 2018: Xenosaga Episode 1 remaster
Winter 2018: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 story DLC
Late spring 2019: Xenosaga Episode 2 remaster
Fall/Winter 2019: New IP (open-world action rpg with more medievl asthetics)
Summer 2020: Xenosaga Episode 3 remaster
Spring 2021: Xenoblade Chronicles X remaster (with additional story chapters post-original-game)
Winter 2021: Xenoblade Chronicles 3X (sequel to 2, but also revealing that X fits into it, too)
Phew.
