This is one of my favorite games, so i'll just nod here, but don't ALL games that a person likes make one feel happy/good? If a game might me feel something other than good, I would probably not play it :lol

I mean, there's not exactly many games that are meant to only evoke feelings of sadness or something. And of them, they almost uniformly suck.

The music, graphics and gameplay all add up to give this chilled out experience that always makes me relaxed and happy, it's something I always go back to.

Well, a game like Heavy Rain gets all the emotions out of you, sad, anger etc.

It's not a warm fluffy sweet lovely ''ahhhhhhhhhhh''game

Right, but even if it was a happy theme, i still would not have been happy or felt good, because the game was balls. That was what I was getting at.

FFXIII. yeah i said it. god i loved chilling in my bed after the work day and playing FFXIII.. it was such a stress-free, incredibly beautiful and imaginative videogame... and the music just pushed it over the top for me. i love FFXIII.

I'm no fan of FFXIII, but I agree about the music and art design. I remember the first time I entered Sulyya Springs and this track started playing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzyGHuizHVA . Very chill.

Wait, there's a diving simulation for the PS3? :O
Aquanaut's Holiday. pretty bad imo :/ and i didnt expect much either. it's just filled with annoying new age-ish bullcrap and it doesn't really provide the sensation of underwater exploration. it's obviously pretty low budget so i can't be too harsh but ehh, it's one of the few games this gen i haven't finished.

damn, GAF...every single one of mine, nailed down on page 1....with screenshots! stepped it up for this thread.

wait, i didn't see Rez. that's the only other one, though i tie drinking + happiness + that game in a way that's no doubt unhealthy.

Don´t worry, I was just in time with Rez.

Katamari Forever for sure, but I also feel great every time I drive around the world of BrĂĽtal Legend. ToeJam & Earl 2 is also one of my definite feelgood games.

We need more arcade games in here.

Simpsons, TMNT, Neo Geo (Super Dodge Ball, Metal Slug), Violent Storm, Time Crisis 2, the list goes on...I really need to learn how to put pics in my posts.

Space Channel 5 Part Two
Paper Mario TTYD
Super Mario World
Mario Kart Double Dash!! (Baby Park)

Most games make me sad.

Well I mean I certainly enjoyed Half Life 2 but it didn't really evoke jubilant happiness. Hitman: Blood Money is a fantastic game, but I don't feel bubbly or relaxed and "happy" while playing it.

I think a lot of the titles in this thread are mentioned because they attempt to evoke child-like feelings of innocent happiness and they actually succeed at doing so.

I just love hearing the music in Balamb, or Dollet, and all the different places and pretty much everything. Love it. Get super nostalgic when I see pics/videos.

Would it be wrong if I said watching Kratos slaughter thousands made me feel good/happy?

EDIT: This is the correct answer. This shit is like video game Prozac.

... Too many games. When I play good games, they immediately make me happy except when they're too hard to beat. Co-op games are the best though.

Right now I'm enjoying Kinect Adventures. Playing it together really bring the smile to my family.
