Can't believe no-one's said the obvious.

EDIT: FUCK, knights can jump.

super monkey ball. you know which one I mean, the good one.

My first though was with VVVVVV, a "platformer" with no jumping, all you have is gravity switching.

arcade shmups

'Run And Guns' are considered a sub-genre of shmups, and in almost all of them you can jump. Examples are Contra and Metal Slug.

Why did I make this??!?

Was playing SWAT 4 with friends and kept trying to jump with the space bar, instead issuing commands and giving away our position due to the noise :P

No mention of the Ninja Theory games?
For most games you don't necessarily need a jump button and for others it's substituted by a roll button which is just as good. In games like Enslaved and Heavenly Sword where you have your characters jumping around so much it's surprising to see that there isn't actually any jump button outside of certain situations.

Anything in a 3D world like Gears, MGS and the like I tend to miss jumping a lot and it really tugs me out of feeling immersed - even if you don't use it much it still feels odd; like you're playing with a missing limb or something.

Silent Hill oddly it never bothered me. Guess I just knew jumping around wouldn't mix well with a sense of dread - hard to be scared if you can bunny jump away from monsters if you feel like it.

Star Wars Galaxies...an 3d MMO without jumping...at least from what i remember.

The exact opposit of SWG jumping would be jumping in Asherons call, you could jump like crazy with the right skills.

Still waiting for the Return of the King.
All hail the Feather and Ghost Valley short cut.

There's still hope as the course still hasn't been brought back as a retro track (SC excluded). If thye do here's hoping Battle Course 2 also makes an appearance. Jumping out of bounds for no reason was great fun.

I would had liked the game alot more if you could had jumped, there were a few times in the game when I felt like I needed to jump

I know people have already Said FFXIV, but I'll add FFXI to that also. There are several places where they block your path with less than knee high (excluding Tarus) environment things. It was so frustrating to have to walk an extra 3-4 minutes around something because you couldn't take a high step up. Poor level design combined with a missing mechanic just sucks. Especially when sometimes walking up a slope in Ordelle's Caves and you'd get stuck on the terrain and have to move back and forth on a step. Just give me a jump!!
