Games where you put in more than 100 hours?

Pokemon Red, Gold, Ruby, X
Starcraft
Oblivion
Borderlands
Skyrim
Dark Souls
Battlefield 1
Pubg
Battlefield 5

Only Pokemon Red, Pubg and BF5 have over 200.
Never hit 300 yet.
I tend to be a quantity gamer, and get more enjoyment experiencing new games instead of staying with a single one for months on end.

Slay the spire
Dead Cells
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite - i think that one is around 1000 hours
Vice City - multiple 100% completions
Has been heroes
Skyrim
Monster Slayers
No mans sky

Probably more but those are what comes to mind

Not that many that I can think of, generally when you tell me a game is over a hundred hours long it's more of a turnoff than anything as I think very few games mange to stay interesting for that long

- Witcher 3: Around 210 hours including the DLC because there's just a lot of great content in there

- Persona 5: 105 hours because that's how long it takes to beat the main story due to the extremely slow pacing and all the padding

- Rocket League: Around 400 hours because it has been my go-to multiplayer game this gen

- Halo 3: Around 600 hours, I loved this game and it was the first time I actually had a consistent group of people to play with and participate in small tournaments with.

- Chrono Trigger: Not sure many hours but I've probably beaten it like 7 or 8 times over the years which all adds up to more than 100 hours.

- LOL: I don't know but more than 200, Because there was a time where everyone at work was playing so I could always play with a full team of people I knew which is when this game really shines IMO. There were a couple of months where my weekly routine turned into coming home from work, eating and playing lol until 2AM

Honestly this always boggles me. I see quite often people post THOUSANDS of hours in loads of games and I just think the same thing.

I wake up at 6am, come back from work at 6pm. Go to the gym, shower, cook... by that time it's nearly 9pm. That gives me 2 hours per day on a weekday.

HOW DO PEOPLE DO IT. TELL ME.

Edit: forgot to say my game on my rampage... Witcher 3, around 180 with DLC's

I work 7-8hrs a day, live 5 mins from the office and don't like leaving the house too much. Pretty easy to whack out 5-7 hours a night if i really wanted to, and then there are lunch breaks too!

As for singleplayer, I don't think I have put that many hours into a single game. I mostly play sp games, but never sunk that amount of hours into a single title.

I'm probably over 100 hours in Subnautica and haven't finished it but most of that time is loading and reloading after crashing in this buggy mess. I don't know why I keep playing it but for some reason it has me hooked.

Out of the Park Baseball (1000s of hours)
PES
TES Oblivion
All Souls
Harvest Moon series
Virtua Fighter 5 FS
The Pinball Arcade
Minecraft
MLB The Show franchise
NFL 2K5
Madden (Although I haven't played it in years)

There may be a couple others, but that's what I remember immediately.

Well if we are just talking single player, then
Harvest Moon BTN
Morrowind
Oblivion
Persona 4
Persona 5
Gundam Musou 2
Ocarina of Time
Majora's Mask
Little Busters EX
Sengoku Rance
Rance X

Just off the top of my head.

This gen?

Persona 5
Overwatch
Monster hunter world
Horizon zero dawn internal clock say about 100 hours but it's wrong, more like 60 hours.
Close to 100 hours yakuza 0 with 82 hours.

CS1.6 - If only Steam kept track back then. Easily more than 10k
COD4 - Last I remember, my old Xfire showed around 4k hours.
CSGO - 2563

These are all games I played competitively in numerous leagues (CAL, ESEA, etc...)

Tons of other games I've put well over 500+ into as well. BF1943, Cities, LOL, PUBG, Vermintide 2, L4D, Apex, just to name a few off the top of my head. Mostly competitive games with a few exceptions.

This is just "the nice list", the one platform (Steam) where it was easy to check:

EIWJwlm.png

I have f.ex. completed Dark Souls multiple times on the Xbox, so I have about 300 hours total in that game. Halo series; at least 1000 hours. MS Flight Simulator probably the same.. I don't know, I've been gaming for several decades..

I don't care about hours, but it is kinda interesting to reflect on in retrospect. F.ex. didn't know I played Stardew Valley this much, lol...

In one continuous playthrough:
-BotW
-Witcher 3
-Skyrim (even though I kinda hate Skyrim now)

Acumulatively over various playthroughs/versions:
-Most Metroid games
-RE4
-Bayonetta
-Dragon Age Origins
-Mass Effect Trilogy

Probably a bunch that don't immediately come to mind as well.

Apart from MMOs, not many. Red Dead Redemption 2, Fire Emblem Three Houses... and Fantasy Life. Member Fantasy Life?

Fuck Level-5 for falling to the easy monies of the mobile freemium market. I want FL 2.

This gen it's been a fairly limited group with over 100 hours in it:

Dark Souls 3
Rocket League
Code Vein
God Eater 3
Monster Hunter World
Dragon Quest XI
Nioh
Red Dead Redemption 2

That's not to say I didn't play, finish, and enjoy a lot of games, but unless there is a key reason to replay a game (such as the Souls series), I generally don't do it, or do it a few years later. I'm not generally a guy that likes replaying games immediately, even in NG+ type fashion. I also typically don't play competitive games, so it's strange that I've sunk so many hours into Rocket League, but it's my perfect "oh I have a half hour, let's spin something up" game.

Off of the top of my head:

Every Diablo
Fallout 1, 2, NV
Divinity OS 1 and OS 2
Every Magic the Gathering card game since the 360 (I have 2047 hours on Magic Duels, the one before Arena)
Too Human
Gears 1, 2, 3, 4
MW2, 3, Ghosts
Counter-strike Source
Mass effect 1 (Maybe? I did a few play-throughs)

Street fighter 5 (Over 1000 hours)
Tekken 7 (Over 1000 hours)
Soulcalibur 6 (500 plus hours)
King Of Fighters 13 and 14 (Over 1000 hours for 13, 200 hours for 14)

Persona 5 (120hours)
Sekiro (137hours)
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (280hours)
Fire Emblem Three Houses ( almost 300hours)
Dragon Quest XI (110hours)
Bloodborne (105hours)

Mostly just MP games

Quake
UT
Tribes
Halo
CS
BF
Planetside 2

With a few SP games thrown in over the years like Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Minecraft, Diablo 1 and 2.

Left 4 Dead & Left 4 Dead 2's multiplayer with friends was some of the best money I've ever spent. 150+ hours in that 4v4 brilliance.

ArmA 2 has 300+ hours and ArmA 3 has 200+. Their modding scenes and Steam Workshop support proved to be another good couple of investments.
