This happened to me with Mirrors Edge. I really hated it. I died like 1000 times during the campaign. I wanted to write a letter to DICE to describe in details how awful it is. Sometimes I wanted to bash level designer's head against the wall (usually after dying 30 times on the same place and then learning that you had to do something opposite of what you were doing). I hated everything except some combat pieces.
Nevertheless I beat it. Why? It had become a matter of principle. I had to beat it. Also the atmosphere was incredible. The game had beatiful sountrack. I wanted to stay in the city and found out how the story ends (even if there was nothing special about it). But I certainly wasn't enjoying it.
Has anybody completed a game hating it from the beginning to the end?
