My tv is 27 in. flat screen. Here's my spec for my television.
Yellow/White/Red are my components cables along with S-VIDEO.
Front TV:
VIDEO IN # 2 Y/W/R
Back TV:
VIDEO OUT Y/W/R
VIDEO IN # 1 Y/W/R
S-VIDEO socket
Two questions:
1.) Since i can't get Wii due to being sold out and i was wondering will the GC Zelda TP get the blurriness or will that be fixed automactically?
2.) If i get the S-VIDEO component cable (W/R/Black S-VIDEO socket plug) will i see the huge difference than i'm using the regular composite cable on my GC and possibly killed the blurriness too?
3.) Will any of you buy me the Wii system and i'll happily paid the shipping? Wink wink
Thanks!
The difference is way more apparent on a large television, especially if you have an HD set. Composite will usually look worse on an HDTV than a standard tv. I'm suprised the difference is even noticable in those tiny Gamespot pics.GreenGlowingGoo said:Hmmm well... While I see the difference, the difference doesn't stir any kind of emotions, and I doubt I'd pay any extra money for cables or anything to get that difference. Does that make me a bad person?
I guess you don't own an HDTV. If you have an decent sized HDTV, composite often looks worse than it would on a standard tv... and I can't imagine why anyone would spend the money for an HDTV if they don't care to spend $20 on cables that would give them the HD picture. (or in Wii's case, EDTV)Hitler Stole My Potato said:I don't see why people are flooding their panties over this. Yeah there's a difference but it's nothing dramatic. I wouldn't be scrambling for component cables because of these screens.

I played TP on my fiance's sdtv composite, and my first reaction was "wow, no jaggies!" Then I realized that everything is blurred over and a lot of the detail is missing. A lot.
