I reviewed the original also and came up with the following:

1. Horrible graphics. What's the deal with the big and little Mario?
2. Horrible music. Like, haven't we all heard this before?
3. Horrible level design. I feel like I've played this before.
4. Horrible story line. So unbelievable.
5. Homosexual overtones.
6. Poor textures, grass.
7. It's too hard, and then, too easy.
8. Control is a little too simple.
9. Also, the game it is packaged with, this shit game called Duck Hunt, does not have pinpoint accuracy and actually requires that you stand directly in front of the screen to succeed.
10. No save points


I give it an 8.8.

Maybe but you got to admit the two last levels are not easy. And you can not beat it in 20 minutes if you don't use any warps. Using the shortest warps you go through about 10% of the game.
