Gamespot's PS4 vs Xbox One Twitter Battle

How many people have seriously voted though? This is an interesting turn of events seeing as how positive the media has been to the Xbox One.

So basically this how Gamespot realizes what bias their articles should get from now on?

It is very impressive however, and makes me glad that the impression I'm getting on GAF isn't an isolated event.

Edit: I just noticed they have a Call of Duty: Ghosts for xbox one ad (with no mention of PS4). So that is why this poll is completely hidden. This is shameful.

90% milestone, that's hot

I'm pro PS4, but this is a bit crazy. I'm sure it will cool down a bit when E3 arrives, MS won't let themselves get slaughtered like this...I think.

So you're saying that they have a financial stake in promoting the success of the Xbox One?

Why not just play ads from Sony as well? I mean there has to be money in there for them regardless of platform.

i just can't beleive those 10% of the people who are so short-sighted and brainwashed into supporting/not caring about what MS is doing.

this is not different from the general feel in forums, press and every gaming talking related. Now, Sony (and Nintendo) needs to show us what we want and kaboom! bye bye xbone.

Sony should announce a pre-order today and receive 5% off deal or 25 dollar psn credit..strike while its red hot

Yes, or offer incentives such as free 6/12 month PS Plus subs to former Xbox fans making the switch to PS4 - there most definitely should be a large pool after yesterday.

If I was on twitter I would add + one to the PS4 in the United States easily. xone will get a lot of buzz it was just announced wait until after E3 and the picture of popularity will be clearer.

I agree. I think we will see a lot of games from MS. If we don't see anything compelling then they are in trouble. And I'm completely fine with that. I feel an ongoing cycle of a new market leader is healthy for this industry.

Funny enough, I can remember early last gen when people were saying a 360 and Wii were all you needed (when the "good" model PS3 was still $600). Wii60, with pictures and opinion pieces to match. I think this was early 2007; how times change yet stay the same.

Probably related to the number of services announced today that won't work/suck in Canada.

This has actually been a question on my mind, as I didn't bother watching the announcement and wasn't sure. So it really is JUST the US MS seems to be targeting? Not even NA overall?

Jesus fucking christ, lol.

Said yesterday that if Sony were smart they'd make an announcement or something whilst everyone has the negatives of Xbone in their heads.

What sort of announcement. I want Sony to succeed too but I fully expect the same anti-consumer policies as Microsoft.

Well my country has spoken, as have my neighboring ones.

There is no reason why an XboxOne would be appealing to anyone outside the US. Who the hell outside US even cares about NFL... which was a huge part of the presentation.

I do, but i have Gamepass for that, and those NFL features won't work in the UK anyway.
