I don't think a GameStop employee would have spent the time photoshopping the box art just for shits and giggles.
More anti sony metal sludge. I just don't understand if you have no interest in the vita why post in the thread? You defend other consoles/handheld in the opposing threads. I just don`t get it...

Actually, it was more like Killzone, where the title was revealed at E3, but the original announcement came all the way back at the NGP reveal in 2011.
Was just thinking this, that box cover looks real, gamespot wouldn't just make something up on their own to put a picture in like that, they would just list it without a cover.
Someone gave them that cover, so I am 99% sure this will happen at gamescom.

Any COD original is destined to bomb on the Vita. Nobody wants to play a spinoff while the rest of the world is playing the real deal.
If Sony are going to push the Vita at Gamescom, this is exactly the type of thing they could have held back. I mean, if they have Treyarch porting the game to the Wii U, another developer could be porting it to the Vita. It's strange that there are no handheld versions announced, frankly.
Black Ops Declassified is the Vita's best-selling game in the US.

Unlike a GTA V port this is actually technically possible. Vita would struggle with a GTA IV port. There's no chance they could get something like GTA V to run on Vita.
If GTA ever hits the Vita it will either be an original game ala another Stories game, or it will be a port or remaster of an older GTA. For the record I would kill to get GTA on Vita.
To add to everyone's response about a Gamescom announcement, maybe Sony would like to keep it quietly under wraps until after Killzone Mercenary is released. Even though it's fairly clear what the superior game will be, one can't deny the amount of cache Cawladoody still has.

I viewed your recent post history and majority of those post were in nintendo threads, which is fine. But the constant " vita is hopelessly dead" posts are just too much. It's not about being sensitive, it's about the boarderline trolling. Everything relating to the vita will get downplayed for unknown reasons.

I'm torn about whether I should be happy about this or not. On the one hand it makes me happy to see a Vita game sell well. On the other hand it's some kind of cruel joke that a terrible game like that sold well yet many of Vita's absolutely stellar games sold like shit.
This is the way things go no matter how much the system sells. I'm just happy more Vitas got sold so we can get more of the good stuff. It's not like we're gonna get hit by a wave of CoD clones on Vita because of it.
Now i bet you if i started to shit on the wii u you wouldn't be able to cope with. You were already in defense mode when someone mentioned how badly the wii u cod verisons were doing. Either way i just wanted to point it out. I won't be buying the game, but this is very helpful .

again, Nihilistic Software is no more,and what called nStigate is supposed to focus only on mobile (android/iOS) but the studio itself sound like it already dead because there is nothing from them since that announcements and not even the website work.

According to Famousmortimer, Nihilistic developing it was never the plan. It just happened because Activision bit of more than it could chew and had to scrap the proper CoD Vita they had been developing internally. Nihilistic was just called in at last minute because they were the only ones who had a working FPS engine on the Vita, and could slap together a shippable product in time for Activision to fulfill its contract with Sony.would buy, and please dont be nihilistic

i just knew that they had like 6 months to put the whole game together and as such was quite subpar.You know what? You're right, you did defend it's sells. I'm sorry. I quickly glanced at screen at work and misread your post. But you have recently posted alot of crap in the vita threads. It is well known the state of the vita at neogaf and doesn't need a minutely reminder.
Is not "more reasonable", since Activision already has the engine running at an acceptable performance and a dedicated team already with experience working with hardware, while the company that made Declassified collapsed. Although is definitively possible for the Vita to handle a port of the game, porting the game would be a harder, more expensive task than the Wii U port.
Plus is very likely that the decision to port Ghost to Wii U was made before Blops 2 released.

Reminds me of the days when COD was going to be the system seller for Vita. That didn't turn out so well. Let's hope this time they don't try to directly port the game like they did with BO2.:lol
If the Wii could handle a port of MW3, I give good odds to the Vita handling Ghosts at an acceptable level.

.I'm no COD fan, but I think I could get it later down the line. Killzone may be great, but hopefully this would have some decent pick-up-and-play modes like Spec Ops/survival. Sadly, I haven't heard anything about such things in K:M (but I'd love to be proven wrong in that matter).
