Capcom's conference would have been a better choice. I mean, all these awesome games and they talk about a Lost Planet movie? This is especially weird since Comicon is happening the week after.

this was hard, but r2 with its 60 players competitive and 8 players co-op takes the edge. lbp and spore are the others runner ups.

No, there were released images and PR stuff everywhere after Monday. GT had the trailer too, I believe. Did you miss the entire thread where most of us were salivating over the screens?
 
Best PC Game didnt have a single PC exclusive.

Wheres:
Dawn of War?
Warhammer?
Crysis Warhead?
Stalker Clear Sky?
Dragon Age?

GameTrailers is just completely out of touch with PC gaming Im not sure why they even attempt to cover it.

And best graphics is a joke also.

Given the near perpetual bashing Guerrilla has taken over the years, they more than deserve the award.

How can they even pick a game? Do they actually to get to play these games online or is it based of feature set? The whole idea of "E3 Awards" seems so stupid to me in the first place.

Resistance 2 MP was playable at E3. Dunno about the other ones. I'm sure L4D was too.
 
Crysis Warhead and Rage should have at least got a nomination for best graphics, KZ2 just looks like shades of grey, great if that's your cup of tea but I honestly don't see anything spectacular about it.

Didn't catch the Ubisoft press conference, must have been pretty dire to be under Nintendo and Sony.

lol people are pissed in all of the videos.

The comments in the Innovative one are insane. Some of the fans on there are really aggressive and for no reason.

Nice to see Dark Void get a little recognition. The game is by the same people that created Crimson Skies.


Pure looks really good and deserved an accolade for the driving game genre.



I agree with Far Cry 2 being nominated for best graphics. Although it probably should've made an appearance in the most innovative group as well.

I'd say that Banjo shames them all, but then we'd hear bad art, Rare, bububub, all kinds of other shit. However, it's not a game that is on a lot of other people's radar. However, if you wanted to do a checklist of what to have graphically for a game to be considered technically great, Banjo exceeds them all.
 
Lulz Banjo looks good but not enough to be in this category.

not sure i feel it deserves it based on what's been shown thus far either.....
 
Of all the best of e3 lists, this one seems to best reflect my thoughts. Of course I didn't attend E3 or play anything, but at least from afar, this looks most correct to me.

I think that is the only one I'm a little off on as well. Thing is you can't base this off the snipet from the Sony Press conference... that was def. a pretty lackluster showing of hte game. I'd be happier with left4dead or farcry, but can see it lacking the mainstream appeal that Resistance has.
 
I think Banjo will be up there in terms of graphics, no doubt. The video walkthrough on IGN convinced me of that. For being such an open ended game with huge locales it looks amazing. Don't even get me started about the textures either.:D

if you ask me, Ratchet and Clank does a much better job conveying scale with beautiful graphics to boot. B&K has better texture work but R&C has better lighting, modeling and animation.

Well technically, R&C doesn't really have better lighting. Also, B&K has much better shadowing.

And it has open levels and not corridor like.
I'd give B&K the edge on 360, with Fra Cry 2 being close second. But there are so many beautifuol games that it doesn't matter that much, really.

And Duke Nukem trilogy should have really won! That or Infamous had the best trailer. A CG trailer winning is just lame.

And Bungie's game winning MiA is also a bit lame. Nintendo lacking 'core' games was the biggest.

We were not allowed to play Madworld at E3 and the demo that was being shown just had enemies standing there waiting to be killed. It wasn't even a game yet.
 
personally I think kz2 deserved best graphics on the balance...

BK looks nice but there are quite alot of better looking games...KZ2, RE5, GoW2, Crysis, LPB, Fable 2 etc
