It's interesting how time is reason enough to invalidate things.

I mean, for real, do you remember how Sonic Adventure looked at September 1st, 1999? It was the best looking video game on the market by a LANDSLIDE. 14 years later, it looks like hot trash. Does that mean anyone who thought that game was impressive at release was wrong?

But then i'd have to stick with loving MGS4, even though i can't stand playing it now!

After it launched worldwide it got framerate issues that make it a lot less fun to play. There are also still the problems with having to use the roulette thing to unlock characters and the long loading times.

Basically: the gameplay is good, but everything surrounding it is trash.

Honestly lol I thought the framerate dips was just my phone, like with Hunger Quest. But that is reasonable. I think the design. us great but it is pretty taxing. I can't play it at the moment because I'm not near a decent WiFi to clock in a good score. (Kinda sucks that I have to watch a video to revive and of I can't watch that video I'm SOL.)

It plays better and clearly has a higher production value, but the customisation, story, and just general theme are total shit.


Now, if they released Saints Row 2 running in SR3's engine, I'd buy that day one.

I thought the game was somewhat funny and liked the voice acting.
