So, sonic just released a new trailer for their mobile game:


It's not the first time Sega has released a very good sonic product. They also found success with their movies, cartoons and even other trailers. It seem they really nailed how to make good sonic stuff... Except for games of course.

They are not the only ones, though. Castlevania has also found success in their "anime", but theirs games have not been memorable for a long time.

Is there any other game IP you recall being really good on everything but games?

Was this written during a stroke? How are Sonic games not successful, they've been million sellers for decades? If you're being edgy and talking solely about quality, Sonic Mania is still one of the best platformers of last gen. Also, you are counting a successful mobile GAME to make a case that Sonic has no success in games ...

Castlevania has a ton of classics that are playable right now on every modern platform.

Sonic Boom is the only thing outside of Games that Sonic did well. Knuckleheaded Knuckles for the win.
