Gaming peripherals/add-ons you bought and then never used.

WiiSpeak.jpg

The Wii Speak microphone that I bought with Animal Crossing: City Folk. Only used it once and never used it again... Plus, the game didn't keep me interested...

Mad Catz SFIV TE fightstick. Never even touched it and sold it. Then I bought an 8arc stick for SCV and used it for an hour or two. Sold it. Bought a PS Eye, and 2 Move controllers in anticipation for Until Dawn. Game never came out and I never used the Move or Eye.

Really wish we'd hear an update on Until Dawn.

Fishing Resort for Wii with the rod attachment is sitting in a box unopened at the moment, but that's only because it's just another victim of the backlog.

Fishing Resort is an awesome game. You should push it up the backlog.

I got it used so I just played with the Wiimote. It supports MotionPlus as well...

I bought the Wii Speak and Zapper. Both were like in 2012 and were on clearance for $5. Just wanted to have them.

I own a lot of accessories and always plan to use them, For Sony PS3 Eye Toy, PS3 Eye, 2 Moves, 2 times 2 types of gun shells, 2 Navigation controllers. For Nintendo, 2 Gamecube microphones, 2 bongos, fishing reel, 4 fightsticks, Circle Pad Pro, 3DS stand, two dance mats and a cardboard box (Let's Tap). I also own a lot of controllers, though only one Dualshock 3 for PS3 and a Wavebird for Gamecube.

Wii Speak
Wii Zapper
Gamecube Microphone
E Reader
GBA - GC cable
Wii Claasic Controller
GBA Wireless Adapter
Bongos

Nintendo sucks at supporting their own accessories. Thankfully I never got a circle pad pro.

Ps3 move sharpshooter. Tried it for 15 minutes with Killzone 3 in 3D. Felt ridiculous and that I was trying to twist the shit out of it playing. Its currently in a box of guitar hero instruments in storage. Still planning on trying out some rail shooters with it thought.

I got a rumble vest for Christmas one year as a kid, and I think I used it a total of two times.

Wish I'd seen your post before I hit submit. I thought I was the only one.

Haha, we had one of these at a house I lived in during university. We'd use it as a handicap during MKIII tournaments. Win a match, move on, but you had to wear the vest turned up to max. Very distracting.

How did you never use it for Typing of the Dead, PSO, Quake 3, and I'm sure more? The DC Keyboard was a must own accessory!
I got most of my game suggestions from friends and Nintendo power at that point so I actually didn't know of like 95 of the dreamcasts library outside sonic. It's crazy how limited information was back then

My dad bought a Power Glove for me when they came out. I took it home, played with it for less than a day, decided it was a piece of shit, and my mom returned it to Toys R Us for store credit. That's how I got my Game Boy.

I also bought a Dexdrive for my N64 very late in the system's life. It was neat being able to backup my saves to a PC, but there were.. you know, no more big games coming out for the N64 at that point. Or least most of those that were coming out had on-the-cart saving.

MotionPlus for the Wii. I bought it with the intention of playing Skyward Sword, but never did...and at this point, probably never will.
