• Hey Guest. Check out your NeoGAF Wrapped 2025 results here!

Gaming sites you read on a regular basis ?

GAF covers pretty much everything gaming related, even articles no one in their right mind would believe. For quite a few years now GAF has distilled everything gaming related for me. All I have to do is search for the thread.

This is not sucking up. I've always thought message boards are handy.

GAF is where all the news is. I watch some GT video reviews. But they like to spoil a lot about a game. Other than that I have a GI subscription.

That's about it really.

NeoGAF.

Eurogamer too, but not as much lately. Found the quality in Digital Foundry has dropped significantly over the year, more click-bait headlines, biased op eds, etc. Then there's the awful comment section. I still trust most of their reviews though, they tend to fit my sensibilities.

NeoGaf
Rock Paper Shotgun (Personal favorite)
Polygon
Silicon Era
USgamer (Know one of the writers, I find the site just ok)
And Kotaku when I feel like laughing at something

i just go to n4g.com for breaking news... and omg its such a biased site. people who likes snoy has lots of agrees and bubbles while people who defend ms has more dislikes and less bubbles. lol

Mostly I just stick to forums and Youtube channels for gaming news and opinions.

I used to frequent RPS quite a lot when i got into PC gaming but their articles took a nosedive in quality around the time Mass Effect 3 came out.

GAF
Final Bosman
Hardcore Gaming 101

Anything else I randomly check but wouldn't say I'm a regular. I used to check N4G to see how my editorials are doing but after a while I just gave up as there are too many assholes in the comments section.

NeoGAF
Rock Paper Shotgun
Gematsu
Pocket Gamer
Giantbomb (once in a blue moon)

The only time I really on any place other then here is for videos and to read articles. Official game forums are different though or unofficial forums but those are mainly to bug report or find solutions. I tend to try to avoid those places as much as possible though, they devolve to quickly and I'd rather play a game then read about bs.

Considering how the majority has listed GAF in their lists I guess I ought to add GAF, too. So: SA & GAF. I just kind of thought it would be inferred....

Destructoid is my favorite. That place is just awesome. I also go to the escapist now since I need to keep up with Jim Sterling. Sometimes I go to giantbomb, and last/most definitely least would be GAF. The place where gamers go to die.

Nintendo Life.

This. They're clearly Nintendo fans, but not Nintendo fanboys, if that makes sense. The articles are well written, the site is kept up to date, the forums are solid, and the reviews are excellent. They have an extremely comprehensive and modern database of in-depth reviews. Great site.

USGamer and Polygon are the two websites I visit the most. Of course I've learned not to bother checking Polygon's review section, but some of their editorials are great

I used to read Kotaku, Joystiq, Nintendo goes, and destructoid on a daily basis. But now it's just Neogaf.

I try not to have any, the gaming media isn't something you can really invest your trust into at this point in time.

(This obviously doesn't include gaming forums.)

NeoGaf and if I've been busy for several days then Joystiq for a quick run down of any latest happenings I may have missed.

Probably my favorite games-writer, although I wish he had more enthusiasm for Dragon Quest.

Thanks, but... I can't tell if you're joking. You do realize that if I had any more enthusiasm for it, I'd be dry-humping it in the street, right?
