Okay, its technically split 50/50 between female and male but theres only pics of the men. And it technically may not have been canceled so much as it wasn't picked up by Marvel. Probably because the cheesecake editions were a product of the 90s.

Add one more to the list of comic projects you'll never see. Kris Anka has revealed on Tumblr that he and Kevin Wada had been working for several months on a series of illustrations for a book akin to the Marvel Swimsuit Special books.
"I write to you today with the somber news that after a few months back and forth with the powers-that-be, circumstances have arisen that have forced us to stop production on this project," Anka said.
It's not clear if the book was officially approved by Marvel and changed, or if Anka and Wada were simply working on pieces during discussions about the book project being approved. When asked by Newsarama about this, Marvel declined to comment.
According to Anka, the book would have included 52 illustrations by he and Wada, split evenly amongst male and female characters from across the Marvel Universe. The duo had already completed several pieces for the book such as the Ghost Rider, Gambit and Hellion pieces shown here, and also mentioned preliminary work on illustrations for Storm, Captain Marvel and Mystique.
"While we are both disappointed that we can no longer work on this, there was no malice behind this decision. It is what it is," Anka continued. " Although on the plus side, this now frees Kevin and I up to some new things potentially this year, so who knows."
Anka said they are "looking into some way to salvage" some of the work they've done on this project, and he's said some of his pieces will be sold as original art later this year.
