EA has a two hours Game Changers press event identical to their E3 2011 event of the same name. This is literally early E3. For some reason.

They probably want more attention than they would get at E3(, because something big is to happen at E3 that draws all attention?). Or they just feel like they have to announce something now, because there is basically nothing announced from EA yet for the Holiday season, and I guess to wait for E3 will be a tad too late.

I expect the opposite. DA2 mechanics with a graphics overhaul, more items, more characters, more diverse locations, heavy social media integration, even more blood mages.

Once again, while it is still a large gap from DA1 to DA2, if they announce next week, they will be announcing a year to the day of DA2's launch.

Which is going to be more negative than "we're so clever".
