Gears of War Judgment Overrun Gameplay

Gears Battlefield. I am now more interested. With their talk of a more open game, I hope that translates to the MP as well.

The class system looked cool. So the classes are limited to that mode, the rest is standard Gears fare? Gears with a more Team Fortress / Borderlands style character system could be really cool in a cooperative campaign mode.

Guys, will it have Horde mode? I really love that! Haven't even started the single player of Gears 3, but Horde keeps me and my friends playing!

I think I might need a chrome extension to correct the spelling of Judgement, it's found the insanity part of my brain.

PCF working on Gears is a great way to get them noticed by a bigger audience, as well as letting Epic move onto something new (Samaritan please!)

Looks pretty solid and I like the sound of the MP but I doubt it will be drastically different to Gears 3. Soon see!

The fact that they straight out said "less cinematic and more open gamepaly" makes me already really excited. Want to see campaign footage now.

"The Mechanic's of Overrun"? Jesus Microsoft, get a proofreader.
Seriously. I understand Joe Average not knowing that plurals don't use apostrophes, but the thought that someone who is expressly employed to make presentations for a major corporation could let something like that by really gets beside me.

Beast + Horde + Character classes? Um yes, I'll have some of that ma'am/
Agree.

Though I'm quite sad that PCF doesn't really seem to be flexing their environmental design muscle here. Bulletstorm's colorful pallet was a real kick in the ass for the otherwise grimdark FPS/TPS genre, I was hoping they'd bring that sensibility to Gears a bit, since it's set much earlier after E-day presumably there should still be a lot of Serran landscape that hasn't been razed, compared to the other Gears games.

What is the actual deal that Epic have with MS?

Launching UE4 alongside a multi-platform Gears 4 could be pretty big, and a great way to show off the engine.

MS gives Epic lots of $$$, great marketing, and the added exposure of being an exclusive

and MS gets their second biggest series behind Halo

it's worked for both very well so far so I don't know see any reason it won't stay this way for a while

so why didn't they show this stuff instead of...whatever the FUCK half that MS conference was

cuz of SMARTGLASS, that's why!

I trust people can fly on this, I loved bulletstorm and it showed me that they have tallent to make more amazing games, woo!

I love Gears 3 so much and this sounds like it is going to be even better. I love the idea of overrun. This has jumped up to being my most wanted game.

This looks great. GAF is so negative most of the time.
GAF hates Gears because it exemplifies what the whole "dudebro" theme is all about. It oozes testosterone from every orifice, and thus GAF can't stand it. I love the Gears games personally, and thought that Gears of War 3 was practically gaming perfection. It definitely seems a bit too soon for another Gears, but hell...I'm always down for some more curb-stompin' and chainsawin'.

At any rate, Judgment looks great. The class based Horde/Beast crossover looks awesome and should be a ton of fun. The little snippets of campaign footage in that first video looked insane as well. I just hope that this also has the traditional Warzone/Execution/KotH/TDM modes. If so, this could be the best Gears yet. Can't wait!
