I'm really hoping this doesn't fall into the typical Turn Based Tactic game pit near the middle/end filled with enemies that can cheaply 1 shot you causing perma-death and feeling like an unfair pile of trash. The games also tend to put enemies that are bullet sponges in near the end just for the sake of bullet sponges.

I liked the characters, I'm not interested in turn based but I'd like the characters and story to be the normal gears as I enjoy those.

Gears tactics looks more like the original trilogy Gears of War games on 360. I really do not like the shiny, vibrant graphics of Gears of War 4 and 5. Nice to see this stick to the gritty, grim, gloomy world of the original trilogy.

After playing Divinity I'm craving more of this genre. After finishing with DOS I'll probably jump to Xcom and maybe this one after.
