General Flynn resigns from position

Man, what a shit show this administration has been and its not even a month old. Let me ask, if anyone has friends or family they know that voted for Trump, how are they feeling now about their vote?

Well, my aunt in Florida has since admitted that she regrets voting for Trump and she's actually a bit scared of his administration. Not sure about my other family that voted for him, it's not something I like to bring up.

I know a bunch. They are all disgusted and regret voting for him. Maybe they're all lying, but they seem pretty pissed off whenever Trump's antics are brought up. They also blame the GOP now too.
All my relatives voted for him and none of them have anything bad to say. They think the media is unfairly against him (including some at Fox News lol).

Does Flynn just accept being thrown out to the wolves here?

If Russia loses one of its major players inside the admin and realizes Trump won't be able to lift sanctions during this shit storm, how do they react?

Yeah, my Mom is the only one in my family that voted for him I believe. She's pro life and was convinced Hillary was the worst person in the history of the world. Trump could be assassinating political opponents and openly attempting to get rid of all other branches of government and take complete power, she would still be onboard as long as someone was looking out for those unborn babies.

So Flynn resigned over "fake news", huh?
My family is more old-GOP and less Tea Party so it might have something to do with it. They still happily voted for the orange ballsack though.

I find it hard to believe Trump doesn't compensate Flynn in some manner and basically anyone around him so nothing sticks to him so keep an eye out for a trail. He either outs himself by throwing people under the bus who then turn on him or throws the dice and pays them off to keep quiet but risks it leading back to him.

So only thing administration is concerned about here is that their shady and possibly treasonous shit was leaked to die in sunlight? Fuck natsec, collusion with Russians etc., but those leaks!

6 months ago: Leaks are great for draining the swamp!

I do love how during the campaign leaks were great to trump, now he's questioning them as illegal. If it weren't for"illegal" leaks, we wouldn't know how corrupt his government is.

I only know like 1 likely Trump voter and I still don't know if he really did it but all signs before he deleted his fb account point to yes. But If shit really hits the fan, I'm about to tear a new one into the military people I know that support Trump's fuckery and all the both sides idiots.
The fan is already completely drenched in shit though

This is something he's well-known for at his properties - Trump is good at playing fools for their money. He'll go around asking people for their advice on a Big, Important Decision, making them feel in-the-loop so they just have to keep their membership/rental, but meanwhile his real choice is kept to his inner-circle.

A very good point. Trump probably has someone else in mind for his chopping block though if this is his standard tactic it's scummy to throw a "ally's" name out there like that.

Easily is one of the worst bosses to work for.

From the other thread, but if Trump fires Priebus, Priebus will rally the GOP against him. At least this infighting will be useful to Dems IF they don't just do "Let them fight.gif" It's an opportunity and I'm hoping those in charge at the DNC take advantage of it.

Motivate their base, use it to rattle some House or Senate seats, use it to re-inform voters of 2018. SOMETHING.

Easy D and the GOP behaving like teenagers caught with cigarettes. "UGH HOW DARE YOU INVADE MY PRIVACY!!!" The most pathetic and transparent spin I've seen from this administration and that's saying something.

Weird mix of bullshit and facts, not sure I like taste of that spoonful. Trump / WH was informed weeks ago by DoJ, but it didn't have any effect on Flynn's posting or public displays of trust and support towards him from administration.

Trump & Goonsquad just prayed that shit wouldn't get out. It did get out and now they are pissed off because "bad leaks" took shit on their plans.

Unfortunately for them leaks will only continue. Leaks are the symptom of a shit administration run by backstabbing parasites with no one having any sense of loyalty. They're the result of deeply rooted dysfunction.

So the moral of the story is keep leakin' shit cause it works

"There was no violation of law."

What a fucking joke. Do these morons actually believe this shit? What kind of dirt is out there on them if they are willing to lie like this constantly?
Aren't there like two different laws that he should have broken if he attempted to undermine Obama's sanctions before Trump took office?

Opposite for me. Pretty much all shouting "I AM NOT OWNED I AM NOT OWNED" while they slowly transform into a corncob.

Were they supporters of Trump? As bad as it may sound, there are those who still voted for him that don't like him at least because they felt he was better in terms of national security. Those people likely won't have a problem with impeaching him in favor of Pence. As far as the republican base goes, those would be the ones that this type of news would hopefully affect.

"Administration of 180", take what they say and flip it around and you have most likely truth. Then sit back and let press dig. It's almost like they can't help it, but they just lie and keep getting caught.

They're all in on it. It has to get to a point where impeaching Trump and his admin is less painful than keeping him on. Even then only the minimal amount of sacrificial lambs will fall for this. Most of whom are complicit in this will never face justice. Hope I am wrong but you'd have to purge the entire GOP to get any remotely honest politicians back.

Have to keep up the pressure(leaks) on anyone who's involved in this.

F.B.I. Interviewed Flynn in Trump’s First Days in Office, Officials Say

F.B.I. agents interviewed Michael T. Flynn when he was national security adviser in the first days of the Trump administration about his conversations with the Russian ambassador, current and former officials said on Tuesday.

The interview raises the stakes of what so far has been a political scandal that cost Mr. Flynn his job. If he was not entirely honest with the F.B.I., it could expose Mr. Flynn to a felony charge.

Shortly after the F.B.I. interview, on Jan. 26, the acting attorney general, Sally Q. Yates, told the White House that Mr. Flynn was vulnerable to Russian blackmail because of inconsistencies between what he had said publicly and what intelligence officials knew to be true.

The NY Times says that there is a recording of Flynn's phone conversation. Is there any chance this will be made public?

"The Justice Department told the White House about the contents of Mr. Flynn's conversation with Mr. Kislyak, which had been recorded by a government wiretap."

Hopefully it leaks, I'm also super curious what he said to the FBI
